Backup camera dropped working.

Front passenger side of the windshield has a stress crack from edge of frame to center of windshield. And it's with no apparent reason or impact. On the exterior, the crack is apparent by sight but cannot be felt by touch. The crack looks to be inside the glass. The car has been dropped off at the nearest dealership four hours ago and waiting for their assessment.

Rear back-up camera failed on car with less than 28,000 miles. The vehicle is designed with a high rear, so unless the back-up camera is working, there's blind spots when reversing the car. Failure occurred after rare deep freeze/ice/moisture event in late Feb 2021. Wondering if moisture got into camera somehow.

Turned vehicle on in my driveway where I live. Warming up the engine (getting ready to go to store) and I put on front and rear defroster (was cold out). And back windshield made a loud noise and just crashed inside, glass shattered inside car. I usually have someone with me so I am grateful I did not. My car was stationary. We just had snow fall (which is super normal here and it was not the first time this happened so not sure why the window imploded inside the car). You can see in photo. My husband cleaned off the car for me. I used a brush it was just a few flakes. I used the car 2 days earlier and cleaned it also. It had been cleaned. There was some residual snow on top and on the trunk but nothing that should have caused this.

While on motion on a state highway minor debris from the roadway that hits the windshield often creates small nicks on the windshield that collectively impair visibility. It appears that there is an excessive amount of window nicks and chips.

My backup camera stopped working when I took my car to the dealership to get an exterior replacement part. It worked fine when I dropped it off. Now the screen is completely black when you are in reverse but you can still see the backup camera lines. The dealership is trying to charge me $140 to even look at it. Somebody posted this exact complaint in July 2020. They stated that the camera housing might be letting condensation and water inside, causing it to short out. There are two additional complaints with the same issue from March 2020, one in February 2020, and one in January 2020. This is clearly a manufacturer issue that needs to be investigated.

The positioning of the windshield mounted censors box and the rearward view mirror create a forward to the right blind spot that obstructs views of oncoming pedestrians in the walkway coming towards you as you are negotiating the very beginning of a right hand turn, leading to potential pedestrian accident and very angry pedestrians who do not realize they have a responsibility not to walk right through your direction of travel. In one incident, the pedestrian, who did not collide with me, then assaulted my car in uncontrolled anger six times with flat hands to the right side of my car trying to cause damage. It is not advisable to try and report same to police since the police might accuse you of striking the pedestrian who screamed out of control and assaulted your vehicle. The rear view mirror needs to be elevated, or all Accords equipped with full time selectable rearward camera, not just the top end models as this is a serious vehicle design flaw, the censor box should be moved to front of the hood mount, it is obscuring a lot of vision for anyone 5"10" or over. I am 6'2":. This is the first of about 12 Accords/odds/pilots I've owned or leased with this huge a vision obstruction right in my right central frame of vision. I would not have approved the lease had I kn own about this or the extreme right hand biased placement of the gas/brake pedals with respect to the transmission housing and my knees, creating a pressure obstruction that slows down hitting of the brakes. This is not the first time. This guy went haywire and did not realize he was obstructed behind the censor box and rear view mirror, so he assaulted my vehicle six or more times with open hands trying to dent the vehicle. He should have been arrested but no accounting for people's blood pressure and today's assault first, consider your situation approach.

While driving on the highway at a speed of 65mph I heard a loud pop and then glass breaking. When I stopped the car to see what happened, the sunroof glass was shattered. Luckily the sunroof cover was closed because my son was sitting in the backseat. The weather today was about 50 degrees and rainy. The car was parked inside our garage beforehand since the night before.

Car was driven and then parked in a garage by me. Nothing hit the windshield on this or any previous drive. When the car was later pulled out of the garage, it had a 14" crack from the upper passenger side corner towards the center of the windshield. This crack happened while the vehicle was stationary and inside a private, enclosed garage. There are no chip or scratches on the windshield other than this crack. So far, I have waited 14 days for american Honda to decide if this is a manufacturing/vehicle defect or an accident. Neither the dealership nor I are able to get a decision from american Honda.

My husband and I were on a trip and I didn't realize it, but people kept flashing us and I did not have my lights on. When we pulled over, my husband could not get out of his side of the door. It would not open. We were on the freeway, on a cold rainy day and visibility was bad, and not being able to have lights, or defroster work properly put us in a hazardous position. Later I found out as I took it to a mechanic was that our fuse box was not working correctly, and the lights on the right side only and the door and the defroster were not working. It cost me $951. 09 to get this repaired on my 2008 Honda Accord. I think when people get in a car, and drive it especially in hazardous conditions, everything should work properly. I did see on several sites there was a recall on this, but I never received a recall letter, or was contacted by my dealer. I would like to be reimbursed for the $951. 09 OH, and I also would like other Honda owners to be aware of this problem. It could possibly prevent an accident, someone in dire situation that affects their safety. The car was being driven on a rainy day, and the defroster could not clear the windows, we could not put the heater on, could not roll the window down, could not get out of the car because the lock would not come up. The cmbs, speed follow are not working when you drive 40miles in the freeway and it say always see your dealer and the seatbelt are very stiff.

My car was stationary parked in the garage. I went out to go to work and a crack in the windshield ran from the right side across and down the windshield. No marks of impact and nothing fell on it in the garage. If you search online many people have had this same problem with 2017-2020 Honda Accords. I think it is a design flaw that creates stress on the edge of the windshield. This could be dangerous if it happened while you're going at a high speed.

The backup camera has stopped working. For a few weeks it would intermittently turn work, and now it has stopped working completely. When I put the car in reverse, the screen dash is black with the overlay image of lines showing distances still appearing but no camera image. It is being reported on the internet that it is believed this is due to the camera housing allowing condensation and moisture getting in causing a short. The system appears like it is trying to show the camera image, but it is not getting a signal like it has shorted out.

My car is 4. 5 years old with 44,000 miles and the back up camera has started acting strange . The lighting is very dim with lines through the picture appearing like the circuitry is dialing. This is very soon for such a new car and Honda should be responsible.

My 2019 Honda Accord 2. 0t sport (which only has 5,000 mile) ac condenser seems is leaking. That might affect the defrosting of the front windshield. It's hard to notice the problem is there unless the bumper is removed. The refrigerant will eventually ran out. By the time the car probably out of warranty.

Sun visor falling in front of my face. Will not stay up at all now.

Windows fog continously for no reason and the windshield cracked by itself after using the defogging button for the windshield. The vehicle was in motion but there was no debri or rocks that hit the windshield. Representative at the dealer told me that these are factory defects but the manufacturer refuses to fix the issue.

Windshield cracked while the car was sitting in the garage over a long weekend. Was never hit by a rock or anything. Honda agreed and fixed under warranty.

2018 Honda Accord. Sat in driveway overnight, normal weather, rear window fine at 7pm and at 7am it was shattered. No visible reason as to why it would have shattered. Window had tint on it so window stayed intact. Edges all around were breaking away.

The windshield washer motor stopped working.

Tl-the contact owns a 2019 Honda Accord. While driving 45 mph the windshield cracked without warning or impact. The collision mitigation brake system indicator warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where windshield was replaced. The local dealer and manufacturer were not contacted. The failure mileage was unknown. Ap.

The wipers intermittently stop while driving , it just started 2 days ago. I'm not sure what to do.

On 10/10/2019 (Thursday) approximately 4:45 pm there was construction going on between exit 312 and exit 319 (clayton /fuquay) area hwy 40. Construction dropped a large load which sounded really loud and debris was blown in the air and covered my car with cement like stuff on my car. Its all over my windshield and body of my car. Second time at 5:45 am in the morning on 10/15/2019 (Tuesday) they are working again in the area, and their are large clouds of smoke coming up again and then I see later on in the day when I get into my car that I have this stuff on my car somemore. I was driving both times on the highway 40.

While parked safely in my garage my windshield suffered a stress fracture. It starts at the passenger side frame and stretches 13 inches out across the windshield. I took it to the dealer who informed me that the car would be covered under warranty when I called. I later found out after waiting two hours there that it would not be covered. This is an on going issue with Accord windshields and should be recalled. There are numerous complaints here and on other sites of stress fractures without any kind of rock damage to the windshield. This needs to be reviewed and covered.

Windshield seems very easily damaged by even the most minor impacts with even the smallest chip spreading very quickly.

Wind shield wiper stops working in rain while in motion, stops functioning during commute, started working fine next day morning, later quit working when it rained again.

I have a 2017 Accord - in September 2019 the backup camera lcd screen started to flicker for a week or so each time I put the car into reverse. When I changed the camera angle it would sometimes come back and work while backing up, but then it went to a black screen altogether. It's been black ever since, the camera goes on while I reverse but nothing shows on the lcd screen but the guiding yellow lines. I went to fix the camera today myself and noticed the recall of the 2018 Accords. I think the same issue is happening with the 2017 Accord. I'd like to see Honda take responsibility rather than have to pay another $200-$350 to fix this. I am out of warranty. Here is what I found that brough me to this site. Vehicles recalled: 232,140 of the 2018 Honda Accord sedan and 2019 Honda insight hybrid sedan. The problem: the backup camera may fail because of bad software. The fix: dealers will reprogram the display audio unit software, at no charge to owners. How to contact the manufacturer: the recall is expected to begin Nov. 5, 2018. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 888-234-2138. Honda's numbers for this recall are k2g and v2f. Nhtsa campaign number: 18v629.

Windshield chips started from almost day one of purchase. The smallest of road debris have caused multiples of glass chips to accumulate across the windshield over time. The first surface of the glass is very "brittle" and easy to chip with the lightest of contact. Chips form easily at low speeds. As compared to other vehicles I have driven, an unusually loud "snapping/cracking" sound occurs upon any windshield contact including bugs and rain. Chips occur in irregular "clusters" upon impact. I have never experienced this on other vehicles. I have tried to ignore the peripheral chips but now they are starting to form in my field of view. Very dissatisfying and disappointing.

Tl the contact owns a 2018 Honda Accord. While driving 70 mph with the windshield wipers activated, the wiper speed was very low at all settings. As a result, the contact could not see the road when driving in the rain. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The dealer and manufacturer were not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 7,000.

I was driving my 2015 Honda Accord on my normal drive home from work on July 1, 2019 when all of a sudden I heard a weird pow sound. Not knowing what it was I slowed down because I thought either I ran over something or some other vehicle had an issue. Needless to say, I realized that my entire sunroof had exploded / shatter under unknown circumstances. I was an the interstate driving 65 mph in light traffic and the weather was partly clear.
