Since the purchase of the vehicle the srs warning light has continuously stayed illuminated on the dash board. My first thought of course was something was either wrong with the air bag system or the vehicle was involved in a collision that led to the air bags (which ones I have no clue) being deployed and so when I signed the bill of sale with the dealer I inquired about this issue and was given a paper that states the dealer did not know as well as to whaylt the airbag system status was but was to be excluded from liability to this issue by making up this ridiculous document. After seeing the car fax the vehicle was then known to have been in a head on collision in 2018 and so the dealer lied a bout not knowing anything about this issue. This dealer has been totally non compliant with the process of getting this issue addressed let alone fixed and I have tried on several attempts to talk to owner without any callback or answers. I knly get hounded about what they believe to be the balance due on the vehicle that's it . Just today I ran the VIN inn the database and sure enough there was an open recall on the air bag systwmm in accordance with this VIN and that's when I decided to file this complaint .

Front wheel passenger side seat belt is got locked and got stuck beside the seat due to design flaws with seat. It's now no more in use until the issue has been address. We have tried to contact local Honda dealers but they are entertain our complaints. This issue is bothering us to travel together with family due to safety measure failure. We are helpless and didn't have any clue how to take it up this request with Honda directly.

At approximately 35 to 40 mph when applying the brakes lately due to traffic slowing down in front I had absolutely no brake pedal at all. The pedal went immediately down to the floor and the vehicle had failed to slow or stop. To avoid accident I veered to the dirt shoulder and begin to spin out of control ending up back on the road and crashing into another vehicle. The seatbelts had failed to lock as if the brake pedal was never depressed and it appeared that as soon as the tires hit the dirt shoulder the vehicle gain speed. In addition airbags were never deflated.
My car was struck in an accident in which the air bags did not come out, not a single one. My car was stationary at a traffic light on a city street when another car at full speed struck from behind. From the impact the seat was twisted and once again no airbags came out. Additionally, the seat belt got stuck and once I unbuckled my seat belt it did not return to its place like it normally does. Within this complaint, I will attach pictures from the crash and it shows how the airbags did not come out.
My car was in the dealership for a recall repair and every since then the srs light seems to come on. The srs light first came on when I had a passenger in the passenger side getting out from the car exiting it the car the car is a 2010 with 35000 miles it's a one owner car never in an accident and repaired always at the dealer all service history. The only person that's mess with this system is the dealer who's tried to repair and get the light off srs light and still is not fixed wanting me to pay almost $1,800.
"takata recall" reports and vehicle safety test reports are un-satisfactory with the 2005 Honda Civic. I have requested fucco Honda to resolve an airbag warning light on my dashboard, and fucco Honda has failed to repair my vehicle after service appointments and safety inspections.

Tl the contact owns a 2018 Honda Civic. The contact stated that the rear driver's and front passenger seat belts were severed. The vehicle was taken to superior Honda of omaha (402-408-1000, located at 4111 s 144th st, omaha, ne 68137) where it was determined that the failure was caused by the harness the contact installed to stabilize the child safety seat. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stood by the dealer's observation. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 13,500. The VIN was unknown.
I was involved in a single car, weather related accident. I was traveling approximately 35-40 miles per hour in heavy snow. I was wearing my seatbelt which came unlatched upon initial impact with a guard rail on the rear passenger side. My car then crossed the road and went into a ditch, striking some large boulders. That impact was on the front, driver side of the vehicle. The airbag did not deploy and the car was significantly damaged and declared a total loss. I was injured with a broken right arm, broken right leg, nine broken ribs and significant lacerations to my head and right ear from impacting the rear view mirror and front windshield. I spent 12 days in a critical care unit and 18 days in a rehabilitation center for physical therapy. I had to have plates and screws installed in my leg and arm to repair the broken bones. My husband inspected and tested the driver seatbelt and while it did appear to hold on some solid latches of the belt, was able to observe it fail and come unlatched after hearing a solid click/latch sound and then pulling with hand strength on the belt having it come unlatched.

Takata recall: 1/26/19 had a mva where Ford fusion pulled out in front of me. I tboned him around 20-30mph, my air bags did not deploy and seat belts locked all the way out. I hit steering wheel and wound up with sternal fracture which is now a nonunion fracture. I had taken car into Honda dealer to have recall fixed which they said they did ( I have receipts) but they obviously didn't. Honda recall 16-048.

Since 2016 I've been having problems with the brakes. We fixed them and the problem cames back. When I press the brake pedal at times it does not work. My mecanic said that behind the brakes, there is a hose that needs to be purged, but every time they try to do that, it does not work. There is no flexibility on the hose. We've attempted fixing this several times and it works for a day and then the next day it does not work. Please let us know if there is a way we can fix this. I'm afraid this issues has endangered my life several times. I cannot drive it anymore, but I only have this car. The latest issue was today. After having it at the shop for over a week, I was driving my car out of the my drive way and the brake would not work. I've parked it outside my home. Thank you,.
I am driving Honda Civic 2003 model past 14+ years. I am single owner. I had an accident on 10/24/2018. I applied the brake when I saw traffic stopped but the seat belt not tighten. Because of this reason, my chest hit the steering. Also air bag didn't open. Good news is no fracture but my chest hitted steering really bad. Few years ago I went to the Honda service station they changed the seat belt but not remember the which seat belt they changed. Please do the inspection and do the needful help who ever still driving Honda Civic. Please feel free to call me at 706-536-5623 if you have further questions.

When a phone is placed in the designated spot on the center console under the radio, it will fly backward upon acceleration. It has caused my phone to fly backward and unstrap my seatbelt while pulling onto a busy highway. I am not the only person this has happened to. This is a design flaw. The area beneath the radio where you are supposed to place your phone is not secure enough to hold an average size phone and poses a serious risk as the center console is taller than the driver's seat. It has undone my seatbelt on more than one occasion. I would likely have been ejected from the car if someone would havce hit me while this this occurred. Please recall these vehicles to fix this design flaw. It is extremely dangerous.

Airbag (srs) light constantly appears for faulty seatbelt sensor. The seatbelt sensor is constantly failing dispute getting it serviced. It's very dangerous as it could result in the airbag not deploying.
I have had my srs light on since I purchased this car in July of 2017. My seat belts do not lock at the appropriate times. I was also involved in a wreck driving in rain on the interstate and hydroplaned. I hit a median going about 50 mph. No air bags ejected from the impact. The results of the impact were a dented fender, replacement of the driver side control arm, new ball joints, as well as a desperately needed tire alignment. I feel if this impact was hard enough to bend the control arm then my air bags should have ejected, but I'm no mechanic. Thank you.
Driver side safety pretensor malfunctioned. This issue caused the airbag to not work if in an accident. Honda should replace any safety issues with any vehicles. I had to get it replaced by a Honda dealership costing 430. 00.

Takata recall. Warning icon for seat belt/ airbag is on. Upon diagnosis code, 9-3 came up.
Changed the passenger airbags at recommended dealer by Honda. They supposedly changed it and should have done the proper checks to make sure all is well but it was obviously not done as the car ended up locking up seatbelts on driver and passenger from a minor pothole that the case manager is calling a collision. I couldnt believe he insisted that this (hitting a pothole and airbags going off) had happened to him already trying to make it seem normal. More importantly, from the codes that the shop informed me of, seat sensor on passenger side was no good and although no one was sitting on it it locked belts and the airbags failed to inflate. They are with my car 60 days and counting. . . . Never Honda again.

Takata recall: I have had an airbag light on several times. I was told by the dealership it is an inflator code and I will have to pay for a $1,200 repair. On two occasions the seatbelt was replaced. Somedays my light is on, others it is not. There is a recall and there is a technical bulletin but my car is "not impacted" that is untrue. It absolutely is. The vehicle is presenting the same codes as those in these bulletins and recalls and it should be repaired at Honda's expense, not mine. Furthermore, the driver side sun visor is broken but it was not repaired before the end date of the recall (I did not own it then) and now that I own it I am told it is not eligible. I contest, the issue is as much of a safety issue for myself and others on the road in 2018 as it was when it was issued. This too shoulde be replaced at Honda's expenxe not my own. The airbag light goes on and off at will when moving, on city street or highway, turning or going straight. The sun visor does not go out of my line of sight as a result of the failure. This too happens anytime, any where, at any speed, and on any road.

Tl- the contact owns a 2009 Honda Civic. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle a loud popping sound followed by smoke suddenly came from under the front passenger side seat. It was later discovered that the front passenger side seat belt would not operated and the air bag sensor light had illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer motor park Honda located at 2953 mayfield rd. Cleveland hghts, OH. Who diagnosed that the srs had malfunctioned causing the passenger side seat airbag to erroneously deploy. The vehicle was not repaired. The air bag light turn on for no reason and passages air bag never activates. I took my car with a mechanic and the diagnostic was there's something wrong with air bag and seat belt.
Seat belt light for the passenger side. Not all the time. It's intermittent it does not happen ever time. I had the air bag changed. . After that this problem started. Dealer said they will not cover it under warranty.
