My wife purchased a new 2022 Honda Civic sport, it has lane control assist and at high speed it wonders, pulls side to side, follows lanes color change, pulls into a curve and pulls when going by big trucks into the truck. I have to hold the steering very tight and it has made my arms hurt from the straining. I went to Honda 4 time before anyone admitted it has a serious problem. Hammer Honda in reseda CA, verified the problems. The book clear states the lane change assist may or may not work, Honda denies anything is wrong. This is a safety issue and we have had 4 near crash events. I am a certified trained alignment technician and know cars well, I have 43 years of hands on experience, this car is unsafe and no one at Honda is disclosing this safety issue with this 2022 Honda Civic sports. The expert at Honda on the 4th visit witnessed and verified the lane change assists not working properly at 50 mph.

Multiple times my 2016 Honda Civic has engaged the auto braking system for what appears to be no reason at all. I have had my Honda brake when I do not have any vehicles, obstacles, items or obstructions anywhere in the road in front of me or beside me. When this occurs at full speed on the road the vehicles traveling behind me have had to quickly swerve into the adjacent lanes of travel to avoid a rear end collision which could have resulted in serious injury. I have also noticed that the lane departure warning system is faulty and frequently goes off steering my vehicle into the lane next to me even if there is a car occupying the lane next to me. Thank you for your time and assistance.

There could be nothing in front of my car and warning light could put up saying break break but there’s nothing in front of the car and it will just break itself. It has done that to me on the freeway. With the lane keep assist it’ll say I’m drifting out of my lane but I’m not in the car will start to pull itself back into a lame but I’ve never left lane and then but almost take you off the road if you don’t intervene.

Just purchased the vehicle at 359xx miles 3 days ago. At 36,2xx miles, while driving, all the dash lights came on saying there was a failure in the braking system, emergency brake, tpms, lane departure, brake hold, hill assist, impact sensor, emissions system, power steering, and the information system all showed as malfunctioning. After stopping the vehicle and restarting it, the notifications still stay on.

Car was parked in my garage and the alarm set itself off multiple times, when I approached the car it was unresponsive to any key fob commands and the dashboard was completely lit with flashing safety feature warning lights, and airbags were also disabled. Had to open the car with the manual key, since the car would not respond to the key fob. Started the car to see what was going on, when I went to turn it off again, it refused and wouldn't turn off. I proceeded to call roadside assistance after multiple failed attempts to get the car to respond to the key fob and they turned the car off. Two days later I drove car to the dealership, the whole way there all the warning lights were on and all the safety features were disabled and not working. Dealership refused to cooperate or even acknowledge the issue at hand. Took it two times just to be turned away and told they would not help me out, as they claimed they did not find anything wrong with the car, even though when we went to pick it up the vehicle was still not working. The car was bought new, I'm the original owner, only has 14,600 miles. Dealership manager told us that corporate Honda commanded him not to touch the vehicle and to tell us to pick it up. Drove the car back still broken, with all safety features not working, warning lights on, and the alarm continues to set itself off. Had to disconnect battery and it has been sitting in my garage unusable for two weeks now, for it is not safe to drive. Attempted various times to contact corporate Honda for help with this issue, yet they refuse to acknowledge what is going on and will not respond. Please help, this car is unsafe and must be recalled. What would it take for Honda to own up? it seems safety is not a concern for them. It is a safety concern for the car is controlled by unresponsive electronics.
I was driving on a 3 lane highway and had slowed down with hazards on when I was rear ended moving about 7 mph. I suffered severe injuries including a grand mal seizure and 2 brain bleeds because I bounced my head off the steering wheel as well as my passenger hitting her head on the dash and causing her to blackout because the car airbags did not go off when we got hit by someone driving 65 mph. The car had been hit so hard it got hit into a bush causing frontal damage to and severe rear driver damage.

I got the car with Honda sensing to include adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and forward collision warning. All these systems stopped working within 36 month and under 36000 miles. Honda dealership wants more than $2500 for a fix that I read on the internet does not seems to solve the problem. Many people report that the problem is either not solved or it recurs within 6 months.
