Two problems related to brake light on have been reported for the 1999 Honda Passport. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
After vehicle was service for recall 02-I-002-001 on brake light switch, vehicle has been experiencing ongoing problems with the brake system. Consumer stated vehicle was running without warranty.
The brake light illuminated but when the driver checked the fluid level it was alright. While driving at 5 mph the consumer applied the brake but it didn't respond. As a result the vehicle was involved in an accident. Prior to the accident the consumer planned to take the vehicle to the dealer for service.
