My 2001 Honda Passport 4x4 that I purchased brand new in 2001. While my husband was driving it in July on the 16th 2008. He almost got into a bad accident. The frame completely gave way on both sides on the back. There is nothing holding the top of the vehicle together. Well called dealer and Honda motor corp. Both said they offered a warranty, 5 years. I guess they do not care about their product. Everybody I have spoke with including the dealer, said I do not know how or why this happened. My vehicle looks great though. I just can't drive it. I don't even know if it can be fixed they said to take it to a body shop. I paid almost 30,000 for this SUV and now it hit the 7 year mark and I can't drive it because the frame rotted apart.
