Altimax rt43 205/55r16 the sidewall in the front passenger side tire has developed a very significant bulge. I have photos to confirm. I'm extremely concerned about an imminent blowout, regardless of speed, and the loss of control, significant damage to the front-right part of the car, wheel rim, and potentially causing accidents with other drivers. It hasn't yet been verified both 3rd parties (insurance, manufacturer, etc). I noticed it approximately 8/28/24 when a low-tire-pressure indicator came on on my dash. The tread is in good condition, and the tires have less than 20,000 miles on them.

Was getting onto the freeway i15 southbound at 2100 in lehi utah as I was making the turn I ran over a street sign that had fallen onto the road. There was no avoiding it due to it taking up most of the road that was available. As running over the sign I was hoping it didn’t cause damage. The front passenger side tire started going flat. I was thankfully able to get off the next exit (lehi main st. ) to park in the subway parking lot. Was able to change my tire to the spare I had in my trunk. The tire size and brand is 205/50r17 93v yokohama yk740 gtx.

No warning lamps. Incident reported to tire manufacturer; no liability acknowledged. While parking at very low speed, sidewall contacted smooth metal curb at a slight angle and blew out. Imo, tire should have withstood the typical parking process and not destroyed the sidewall and burst under the conditions.

The sidewalls of two tires purchased at the same time were separating causing multiple gashes on each tire. Both tires were purchased originally on 8/11/2011 and today I had to take them to get replaced. The problem was noticed yesterday, 11/18/12. The tire store refused to issue any warranty on the tires as they stated there was no recall so I had to pay for new tires. The tire store took the tires but I took pictures of the tires before they took them.
