One tpms sensor failed December 2018, now the other 3 failed in the span of the last 6 weeks. This is an important item. How do you know if the tire is really low when driving, other than a visual or an air gauge. I'm not the only one with this problem. The first time I was driving, on the last 3, the code showed on start-up.

I purchased a brand new 2017 Hyundai Elantra ex car off the lot that came stock with all nexen tires. Within the first couple of months, under 2000 miles, I noticed the tire looked like the rubber was shredding and saw sidewall bubbling. Had to pay for a new tire when the original tire had hardly any use. A couple of months later, we noticed a bubble on the rear tire, took it in to goodyear, another barely used tire was defective. While my son was driving on the freeway, a couple of weeks later, he got a flat and the whole sidewall was separated and damaged, the 3rd defective tire. Yesterday, while driving in the neighborhood on our way home, a blowout in the last of the nexen tires. Literally a hole in the sidewall. This was a new car, with new tires. All 4 manufactured tires on the car were defective. Thank god we were not killed on the freeway or harmed anyone with this hazardous brand of tire. This tire has failed, all four new tires failed. 2 images are attached. Two failed on the highway, two failed on city streets. Shame on nexen for not recalling this tire yet. I've called nexen warranty but had to leave a message.

I have a set of 4 primewell valera touring ii tires on my card, two of which failed due to the prior recall issue on the inside lower sidewalk. My tires are not listed as part of the recall, however the issue is identical. I purchased two new tires today as the others failed while driving to work on i95 in duval county, FL . I will purchase two additional tires this weekend as I do not want the tires on the car to fail and cause an accident, or worse. What is giti tire and/or continental tire going to do about this?.

This is the second set of brand new tires (michelins) that has failed in less than 25k miles on the 17" rims this car came with. Every small pothole is felt so strongly, the wipers go on and the glove box pops open. There is very little rubber bet. The rim and the road. We don't want to end up dead in a ditch when one of these tires blows out. As noted on the Hyundai blogs, this is a common problem with this model and folks are just waiting for a class action or recall action to happen. Hopefully this will happen before someone is seriously injured or killed.

The contact owns a 2005 Hyundai Elantra. The contact stated that the metal wheel rims prematurely rusted with deterioration causing the tires to have low pressure, then several times the contact had to replace the tires. The vehicle was taken to an independent tire repair technician to inspect and diagnose the wheel rims and it was determined that the tires needed to be replaced. In addition, the vehicle was taken to a dealer (power of bowser, 1001 clairton blvd, pleasant hills, PA 15236) who provided no solution and failed to determine a remedy or replacement part. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was uncertain if the dealer might provide the replacement part if there was no manufacturer recall providing a solution. The approximate failure mileage was 66,089.

While driving my 2013 Hyundai elentra down the highway @ approx 50mph, the left rear tire failed in the center of the tread. No warning. The car is driven by my teenage daughter for school and work. She hit nothing in the road. Hasn't hit anything with the tire. Dealership says it was due to a puncture. I refuse to believe that. If you have wire(s) showing, seems to me that would be a tire failure and not a simple puncture. This is not acceptable with me. Hankook tire warranty in new jersey said to have the dealership send them the tire and they would inspect it to make a determination of failure or puncture. I have as much faith in them as I do the dealership at this point.
