Hyundai Genesis owners have reported 2 problems related to brake abs warning light (under the service brakes category). The most recently reported issues are listed below. Also please check out the statistics and reliability analysis of Hyundai Genesis based on all problems reported for the Genesis.
After the traction control light comes on when using the vehicle. The brake pedal is hard to push and causes the car to pull and fails to slow down as normal. You then have to come to a complete stop and pump the brake pedal down to the floor two or three times and the brakes function as normal again until the traction control light comes on again. Seems to be a common issue based on several forums that I read. It is a safety concern, because you don't know when it will happen to your car's brakes unless you see the traction controll light come on and if you don't know the abs light went on it surprises you and you can easily not be able to stop in the normal distance or the pulling to one side almost causes the car to veer into on coming traffic.
