Car Stall Problems of Hyundai Genesis - part 1

My vechile stalls while driving at various times. This could cause a serious accident in which lives could be lost . This eems to be problem with the Genesis from 2012 to 2016 from my research. I am not the only owner with this problem . The dealers cant find the problem or why it is occuring . The dealers give you numerous reasons as to what might be the cause of this problem, but they are not sure . This could cost a consumer $1000 of dollars just to find out what the problem is . This occurs when just driving down a street, on curves or going straight. I have not had an accident yet! im trying to avoid this . This occurs when my gas tank gets low , that is what I have noticed .

When making a turn at a low speed the car will stall leaving the power steering and brakes difficult to operate and the need to pull the car to a stop, put in park and restart while trying to avoid an accident. Been to dealer twice with them unable to find any problem. Multiple same stories on web about 2009 thru 2014 Genesis with same problem and no solution. This has happen 4 times in the last 4 months.

2012 Genesis sedan consistently stalls under medium to low speeds while braking or making a turn. All warning lights come on and loss of steering and braking occurs. Car is difficult to control safely without use of emergency brake due to the loss of steering/braking. Sudden loss of power at freeway speed. Driving at freeway speed late at night with adaptive cruise control on, I accelerated and changed lanes to the left to avoid a collision with an inattentive driver. Dealer states that the obd2 fault code was p1230, low fuel pressure. The technician test drove the car and reproduced the behavior. Initial diagnosis was "failure of high-pressure fuel pump. " today (5 days after incident) the dealer states that Hyundai tech support recommends additional diagnostics prior to replacing the fuel pump.

Had a similar problem earlier today while taking the car out to get dinner. As I was approaching the freeway exit my car suddenly stalled and the steering wheel seemed to stiffen and the navi screen went out then back on. I pulled over emergency lane and waited to see what would happen and music continued up again from the usb port but I couldn't change the song. On the navi screen where usb setting is saying " initialization failed". So I pulled the usb stick to reset it and got it to work. I was able to go to dinner then drive back home without incident. But later on that night I tried to start my car but as soon as I hit the start button everything died. No power to anything no alarm no use of keyless entry no power at all. Then I come back to the car a few hours later that night and open the trunk manually with the key to get something and as soon as I slam the trunk down all the power came back hids, brake lights, lexicon system music playing. Except when I try to turn on the engine with the start button it won't start. Then everything shuts off like before I'm at a loss. But eeriely I been having problems like the previous poster with topping of gas issues because the car doesn't know when to stop pumping gas sometimes when full and a few times the car spewed out some fuel. I'm not sure if that is related to my recent stall incident but I've plans to driving from san jose back home to los angeles tomorrow on labor day and I'm scared to. What if the car stalls on mountain freeway over pass and it stalls and lose steering and brakes. I don't know if the dealer is even open labor day. What should I do? help!.
