Tl the contact owns a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe sport. The contact stated that the blind spot detection was faulty and would not function properly. The contact almost crashed into another vehicle when attempting to turn because the blind spot detection sensor did not sound when changing lanes. The vehicle was taken to fitzgerald gaithersburg Hyundai (905 n frederick Ave, gaithersburg, MD 20879, (301) 670-4800) where it was diagnosed that the radio needed to be repaired because the sensor was located in the radio. The dealer made minor repairs, but did not repair the sensor. The manufacturer was contacted and was working with the dealer to repair the vehicle. The failure mileage was 37,670.
