Engine Clicking And Tapping Noises problems of the 2015 Hyundai Sonata

I heard a ticking noise that was coming from my motor today 1/28/2021 at 7:15am while the car was parked. I drove straight to the dealership the noise would occur at when the car was idling or I my vehicle was accelerating. I arrived at the dealership at 8am. At 9 am I was informed that a bearing in motor dropped in my motor and caused metal to fun through my motor and that I would need a new motor. I bought my car brand new in 2015 and have kept up all the maintenance. The dealership told me there is not a certain reason why this has happened.

The technician replaced the knock and torque sensor. In addition, the contact also stated after the vehicle was repaired, the check engine light illuminated. The vehicle was taken back to the same dealer where a diagnostic testing was completed and the engine was replaced. The contact stated the failure of the engine continue to recurred, the vehicle was taken back to the dealer where an unknown parts were order and was replaced on the vehicle. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and was provided a case number: 16277030. The failure mileage was approximately 51,000. Aw.

In addition, the check engine indicator illuminated, remained lit, and flashed occasionally. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the engine needed to be replaced. Hyundai corporate will be inspecting the car to try and determine cause. According to geico adjuster, that may not be possible. Everything melted.

Blown engine, bought 2015 Sonata with 36,000 miles, certified used, leased car. Driving home about 35 mph, the engine made a loud clunking sound, thankfully I was in the right lane, I pulled off the street into a parking lot when all of a sudden the car engine blew. Had to tow back to the dealership where they are to replace the engine. Hyundai USA needs send out recall for the gti engine that is causing a lot of issues.

1st event June 10 2016 - car stopped on the fwy at speed over 65 mph. Stepped on the gas pedal and was no power. Attempt to restart and car run rough. Car towed to dealer (tuttle click-Hyundai -irvine,CA. ) 2nd event July 18 2016 - driving on fwy at speeds over 65 mph, gas pedal starts vibrating, driving become rough, clicking noise from engine when idling. File complain with dealer, dealer say it did not find anything, blame the situation to costco gas, and it says that the car requires to use different type of gas (such: chevron, shell).
