Starter Solenoid Problems of Hyundai Sonata

The contact owns a 2015 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the traction control and abs warning lights illuminated. The vehicle later failed to restart. The contact stated that the engine had previously been replaced. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, who determined that the starter solenoid needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA campaign number: 24v107000 (electrical system); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 57,000.

Two weeks ago I had to replace the power window operator on rear passenger side door. Today the power window on the rear passenger side window is not working and needs replacement. The bad solenoids on three door locks were replaced. Both sun visors on the car were replaced due to malfunction. The cover on automatic car seat operators keeps on falling down. The cassette player in the car was replaced due to bad design of the original player.

Automatic transmission; when appling gear in reverse there is a hard banging noise coming from transmission. Transmission has been replaced three times. Dealership was aware of problem. Check engine light illuminated, dealer replaced faulty O2 sensor. Faulty battery causing vehicle to crank slow. Driver door window moves slow, dealer lubricated glass channel. Outer cv boot replaced, it was cracked. Solenoid valve faulty causing poor gas mileage.

Car will not start when key turned in ignition with no sound when the weather is under 30 degrees. Had it in the dealer last week and they could not find the problem. Still happening so its back in the dealer for 3 consecutive days and I cannot talk with anyone in the service department. Phone just rings then cuts off. Have done research and found other 2018 Sonata ES owners with the same problem and the solution has been the ignition starter and solenoid. When replaced the starting problem was solved. Three days now and have not heard form the Hyundai repair shop in bowie, MD. Still have my car. Such inefficiently with mechanics now days.
