1 Carrier/rack problem of the 2020 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 10/18/2020

The windshield on my 2020 Hyundai tuscon all of sudden has a crack longer than 2 dollar bills and it keeps growing. Started on the passenger side, making it's way to the drivers side. You do not feel the crack on the inside or outside of the windshield, it seems to be in the middle,. My car was stationary at the time, no objects have hit the windshield while driving.

3 Carrier/rack problem of the 2016 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 05/06/2020

All four of my windows have stopped working. The motor part works b/c I can hear it. . . The window just doesn't go up or down. It's likely off the tracks. I can understand one but all four. . . . . Seriously all four windows do not work. All this happened coicidentally jsut as I hit the 65,000 mile mark with the exception of hte driver side that I was able to get under warranty. If there is a recall needed it's for the windows!.

4 Carrier/rack problem of the 2020 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 02/18/2020

SUV has been in shop 4 times due to loud cracking pop noise coming from panoramic sun roof. I know there was a recall on this exact issue, then the windows would explode. Apparently Hyundai has not fixed the problem, I am afraid to drive the car, and want my money back or a new car. See my Hyundai documentation paper as an attachment. SUV is in shop presently #4 for same reason.

5 Carrier/rack problem of the 2011 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 10/18/2014

I was heading southeast (inbound) on highway 290. It was clear, roads were dry, and no debris in the road. I had my 16-year old daughter with me. I was driving and she was in the passenger seat. I was in the far left (passing) lane. Out of nowhere, my sunroof shattered and flew off my car. It shattered mostly into a thousand pieces, but the person driving behind me indicated that a huge piece flew off and hit his windshield causing it to crack in multiple places. My sunroof had been closed. My interior shade was also closed. There was no reason this should have happened.

6 Carrier/rack problem of the 2011 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 08/11/2014

Both the downhill brake light and stability track control light came on at the same time. My car wouldn't get out of park, or when I got it in drive, it wouldn't go back into park. Taking it to the shop today, noticed it might be from a brake switch.

7 Carrier/rack problem of the 2006 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 06/28/2013

I was driving home from work Friday afternoon June 28th and shortly after I turned onto a small road to go home I heard a very loud noise coming from the rear of my vehicle. I was extremely scared to drive it the rest of the way home, but managed to make it home very slowly. The next day I took it to my local dealership and they had no clue what would be making this loud rattling/banging noise in the rear of my SUV. When they lifted my vehicle here the evap canister bracket rusted and snapped off, which made the evap canister itself bounce off of the drive shaft making the noise that came from the rear of my vehicle. They showed me the underside of my vehicle and where all this was taking place, but while looking at the underside it made me concerned about all of the other rust areas underneath my car. Thinking about it now, my four wheel drive has disengaged this past winter and it makes me think if it possibly has rusted apart, I will get the mechanics to inpect that further for me, I do need to get that fixed before this coming winter arrives. I know my car is a 2006, but should pieces of my vehicle be rusting off already? should I be concered about the rest of the rust damage underneath my car?.
