I was having my car cleaned after a week at the beach and the little plastic circle that hold the floor mats in place came off of the floor mat. Now when I drive the floor mat is constantly riding up onto the gas pedal. I called Hyundai and they said there was nothing they could do and I'd have to purchase a whole new set of floor mats for over $100. The car was just over a year old at the time. . . . Now I have had to take the floor mat out because I am afraid the gas pedal will get stuck or the floor mat will prevent me from using the brake properly.
When turning right on a raining day, loss of power - no steering or brakes. 2006 tuscon would run radio would be on - battery light and brake lights on - 10 seconds after managing to get out of traffics way - car would move. Hyundai foxed the car by replacing sensors and some other work resulting in over a $1000. Prior major service was serpentine belt and chain replacement on service recommendations - had no issues before the chain was replaced. Ever since - the transmission had to reset for hesitation between 20 and 40 mph and the additional sensor work. Hyundai would not give me any warranty work as my 6 years had just expired. I am taking the car back in tomorrow for the same issue. While driving today in a sudden down pour - the first one since I had the car fixed that I have had to drive in and the incident occurred again except this time I was driving and not turning. Water seemed to get under the engine and something is getting wet. I requested a rental car and I am leaving for vacation on Saturday to the shore. If its not fixed this time - I may have to consider a new car and I just paid it off.
As I was driving down the highway, I noticed that one of the windows in my 2005 Hyundai Tucson sounded like it had been rolled down. Almost immediately, my daughter yelled, "our window is coming off!" I had just enough time to look in my rearview mirror to see the right rear quarter panel window being held on by just a small strip of some sort of adhesive. In less than a second, the window flew off, began pinwheeling through the air and narrowly missed the vehicle just behind me. Even the repairman at the Hyundai dealership that replaced the window for me was speechless when I told him what happened. I contacted Hyundai, and all they would tell me is that my car is out of warranty. While it would have been nice for them to offer to pay for the repair, I was much more concerned with their lack of concern for anything other than the fact that the vehicle was out of warranty. They did not ask for any details or offer any concern for the possible damage and/or loss of life that could easily have occurred had that window hit the car behind me.

There is a leak in the filler necks of the Hyundai Tucson se model I just purchased. The dealer said this was how the windshield washer plastic container was made. The windshield washer fluid leaks out onto the garage floor when filled to the top of the filler neck.

During a recent long rain event in the northeast I entered my car to find a 1/2 of sitting water on the passenger side front floor area. The water was trickling from the top portion of the floor mat where it meets the dash. Upon removing the glove box and pulling out the cabin filter, I noticed the water coming down through the ac system. Dealer looked at the door jams and the hood, and found nothing. No resolution at this time. Similar complaint filed on service bulletins. Car was parked on a 10 degree angle nose end down. Water leak through and near electrical components and near passenger side airbag. Loss of airbag integrity with unknown damage if any. Mold and mildew damage is a potential heath issue as well.
When driving through a puddle consumer's Hyundai Tucson battery and brake light illuminated causing consumer to lose power steering. The problem occured 4 times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The dealer knew why the problem was occuring but had no way of fixing it.
