2 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2022 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 06/11/2026

My 2022 Hyundai Tucson experience, a sudden transmission failure at approximately 92,520 miles. The vehicle develop shifting issues and abnormal noises before losing propulsión. While driving. Hyundai diagnosed and internal transmission failure and approved transmission replacement. I’m concerned about the sudden loss of proportion and the safety risk this creates. Hyundai proposed repair is to replace the transmission with a rebuild remanufacture transmission rather than a new transmission. I am concerned about the reliability of the repair following a complete transmission failure.

3 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2016 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 06/07/2026

The vehicle severely shudders, jerks, and hesitates from a stop and while making a turn, during both acceleration and deceleration, making it entirely unsafe to drive. The vehicle has been completely un-driveable for the past 6 days. The check engine light illuminated, and on 4/9/26, the dealer documented a failed transmission judder test and kept the car, issuing a loaner. A temporary software patch failed after two weeks. Upon return, the dealer reported they were unable to recreate the problem, recommended returning when the vehicle demonstrates the problem more frequently, and refused to mechanically repair the dual-clutch transmission under my active original-owner 100,000-mile powertrain warranty, basically instructing me to continue to drive a seriously un-safe vehicle. Most recently, a yellow dashboard warning light illuminated, and the vehicle entered a dangerous 'limp mode,' severely restricting power and struggling to move before the light cleared after cooling down. The vehicle is completely un-driveable and parked.

4 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2025 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 05/22/2026

On xxx, my vehicle unexpectedly activated its automatic braking system while driving, resulting in a rear-end collision. My infant daughter was in the vehicle at the time. While we were fortunate to avoid catastrophic injuries, the incident placed both of us in significant danger and could easily have resulted in a much more serious outcome. The other driver may also have sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The vehicle sustained approximately $20,000 in damage. Since the accident, I have learned of Hyundai’s recall involving this braking system. Given the circumstances, I am deeply concerned that the condition addressed by the recall contributed to the collision. What is particularly troubling is that this was not the first time I raised concerns regarding the vehicle’s braking behavior. On February 23, 2026, at approximately 11:00 a. M. , I spoke with my dealership, north bay Hyundai in [xxx] regarding unexpected braking behavior that I was experiencing with the vehicle. My concerns were not escalated, and I was not advised that a potential safety issue might exist. Several months later, I was involved in a collision involving the same system that is now subject to recall. I am also deeply concerned by the manner in which this recall was communicated. I received only a text message regarding a defect involving a critical vehicle safety system. Given the potential consequences of unexpected braking events, I do not believe the seriousness of this issue was adequately conveyed to affected customers. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

5 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2017 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 05/11/2026

The vehicle has experienced life-threatening safety defects during operation; shaking, hesitation, and stalling in high-speed traffic. The vehicle unexpectedly stalled/lost power while driving, putting myself and others in direct risk of collision. The Hyundai dealership claimed it needed an actuator gasket replacement, throttle body replacement, and ecm/tcm update. The vehicle had no warning lights until after it stalled, then warning lights illuminated briefly. The Hyundai dealership claimed repairs were "completed" 5/8/26; within 72 hours of "completion" the vehicle's symptoms reappeared. The Hyundai executive case manager has made no efforts to resolve this life-threatening safety issue. This has put myself and children in danger and is legally unsafe to drive.

6 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2016 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 05/10/2026

Oil drains very fast even with regular oil changes and maintenance. The vehicle began shaking and then completely stopped with very little warning. Check engine light flashed for under 60 seconds then vehicle would not move forward on the highway creating a major safety hazard. Engine smelled hot and like burning rubber.

7 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2022 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 05/07/2026

On 3 occasions over my 18-month ownership of this certified pre-owned Hyundai 2022 Tucson, the vehicle surged suddenly forward with brake applied at creeping (parking) speeds of 3-4 mph. No warning lamps were observed. On the most recent (3rd) occasion, a crash over a sidewalk and into a storefront caused $10,000 damage. No pedestrians were harmed, no airbags deployed and neither passenger was harmed. The service department is "unable to duplicate" the surging behavior and declares the car mechanically "safe to drive. ".

8 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2017 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 04/20/2026

My 2017 Hyundai Tucson is experiencing dangerous, sudden engine stalling, which are symptoms directly matching service campaign t1b. These critical safety issues surfaced following a total engine replacement in June 2025. Despite the vehicle being within the 12-month/12,000 mile workmanship warranty, the dealership is refusing to honor this coverage or offer goodwill assistance. My claim is based on a documented pattern of physical and technical negligence: - failure to update software: the dealership failed to perform the mandatory ecm/tcm software integration (campaign t1b) during engine swap, which is required to prevent the exact stalling I am now experiencing. - dismissal of warning lights (code p0456): one day after the engine replacement was “completed,” I returned to the dealership because the check engine light illuminated with code p0456. This was dismissed by the service provider without a proper diagnostic resolution, despite being a direct indicator of improper vacuum line reconnection during the engine installation. - mechanical negligence (coolant leak): post-engine swap, the vehicle developed a coolant leak, which was a direct result of improper reassembly. Additional proof of the lack of due diligence during the repair. The lack of follow-through, combined with the dismissal of a life-safety defect and poor physical workmanship, suggests a total failure in the case management process. I am urgently requesting assistance to resolve this hazardous situation.

9 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2024 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 03/30/2026

The manual speed limit assist, or msla, feature unintendedly activated while I was driving, nearly causing a collision. I was initially unable to deactivate this steering-wheel based feature, (1) I did not intentionally press any buttons to activate it, and: (2) I had to balance the need to visually monitor other vehicles on the highway to avoid a collision and simultaneously figure out how to cancel this feature, which places a limit on the speed that the vehicle can travel. Instead of claiming that this feature malfunctioned, I am claiming that it is an egregiously, poorly designed and dangerous feature. The button to activate it is located on the steering wheel; consequently, a driver can easily activate it without meaning to do so. This inadvertent activation happened to me twice, each time impeding, however briefly, my ability to safely navigate a busy road. This feature was not identified when I purchased the vehicle; however, earlier this year Hyundai belatedly sent a letter to its customers titled "understanding manual speed limit assist (msla) feature," pointing out how to activate and disengage the feature (and providing a link to a website for a tutorial with more information: [xxx] . Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

10 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2016 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 02/21/2026

"on [xxx], my 2016 Hyundai Tucson (VIN [xxx] ) experienced severe engine power loss and mechanical noise under load while driving uphill, creating a dangerous safety situation. This occurred 2 days after a dealer visit (February 19, 2026) where an open ksds service campaign (TSB hce22-14-e600-tl, issue 10d021) — directly related to engine monitoring — was left incomplete. The dealer subsequently denied an engine evaluation citing mileage over 150,000, despite the open campaign having no mileage restriction and despite a prior verbal commitment to cover repairs. Multiple follow-up attempts by phone, email, and whatsapp have been ignored. " information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

11 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2022 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 02/19/2026

I am submitting this complaint regarding my 2022 Hyundai Tucson equipped with the 2. 5l engine. The vehicle has experienced multiple incidents of severe engine misfiring while driving. During these events, the engine begins to shake violently, the entire vehicle vibrates, and engine power is significantly reduced. The vehicle becomes unable to accelerate normally, creating a serious safety hazard, especially when driving on highways or in traffic. The malfunction has occurred several times. Diagnostic trouble codes p0302 and p0303 have been recorded, indicating cylinder misfires. In some cases, turning the engine off and restarting it temporarily restores normal operation. On other occasions, adding fuel system cleaner appeared to temporarily improve the condition. However, the problem eventually returns. Because the condition is intermittent, the Hyundai dealership has been unable to reproduce the failure during inspection and therefore has not performed a repair under warranty. Despite multiple visits, the root cause remains unidentified. I am concerned that the sudden loss of power and severe engine vibration could result in an accident if the vehicle is unable to maintain speed or accelerate while traveling at highway speeds. This issue has significantly affected the safe operation of the vehicle. I request that this matter be investigated, as it appears to be a recurring safety-related defect.

12 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2025 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 02/08/2026

Component or system that failed or malfunctioned: the electronic throttle control system and/or the powertrain control system malfunctioned, causing the vehicle to accelerate automatically and involuntarily. How safety was put at risk: the malfunction caused a collision with another vehicle and a structure. The failure placed the safety and physical integrity of two individuals at serious risk. Problem reproduction or confirmation: to my understanding, the issue has not yet been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or an independent service center. Inspection of the vehicle or component: the vehicle and/or the affected component have not yet been inspected by the manufacturer (Hyundai), law enforcement, or insurance representatives, as an insurance claim is currently in progress. Warning lamps or prior symptoms: there were no warning lights, messages, or other symptoms prior to the failure. The incident occurred suddenly without any prior indication. During the event, the brake pedal did not respond.

13 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2018 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 02/05/2026

Hyundai Tucson has been jerking and shaking for over over 4 years now and either when taking to the dealership they reset the dual clutch and have replaced the same part twice in the dual clutch. This shaking has been happening since the car was bought brand new like a year after. The vehicle now will get stuck in gear and while driving will go down to 20 mph and get stuck in that speed. This is a serious safety issue. The dealer could replicate the shaking but not the gears being stuck. It has happened on more than one occasion and they just reset something but this continues to happen. There are no warning lights when the gears get stuck it just happens while driving and it has happened twice now in the last 3 weeks.

15 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2016 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 12/15/2025

Drove into a parking space, with the foot pressing on the brake pedal, the car suddenly and without warning rapidly accelerated uncontrolled causing the vehicle to accelerate past the end of the parking space causing property damage.

16 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2017 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 12/10/2025

Severe oil consumption. The vehicle eats the oil at an alarming rate. Having to fill the oil tank very often and the engine light has been on. It is affecting acceleration at 30mph where the engine warning light will flash. It also completely dies while driving. Very unsafe and needs to be resolved.

17 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2022 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 12/07/2025

The contact owns a 2022 Hyundai Tucson. The contact stated that upon shifting to reverse(r) and depressing the brake pedal, the engine revved and the vehicle accelerated unintendedly. The contact continuously depressed the brake pedal, and the vehicle made a 360-degree turn and almost struck three vehicles. The contact was able to stop the vehicle after several attempts, and the contact parked the vehicle. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact stopped driving the vehicle due to safety concerns. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 47,005.

18 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2023 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 12/04/2025

As I was pulling into a parking space in a parking garage, the vehicle's engine revved, tires squealed and then the vehicle propelled forward on its own, without my foot being on the accelerator. The vehicle only stopped when it hit a support column and the wall of the parking structure. There was extensive damage to my vehicle and to the parking structure wall. My safety and the safety of others was put at risk due to the car accelerating on its own. The problem has not been confirmed or reproduced by the dealer, but we did take the vehicle to the dealer for inspection and they said they could not find anything wrong with the vehicle that would have caused the unintended acceleration. The vehicle has been inspected by the manufacturer, the insurance company and an investigator for Hyundai. Hyundai infomed us that they are not taking any responsibility for anything that occurred and that they will not share their investigator's report with us. There were no warming lamps or messages related to the problem prior to the failure. However, there have been other occasions while driving on the open road when the engine has revved on its own and I told Hyundai about that. In doing our own research, we have found that there are other 2023 Hyundai Tucson drivers who have had this exact same problem (unintended acceleration causing a crash) while pulling into parking spaces. Additionally, the air bags did not deploy during the collision and therefore the incident was not recorded by the edr.

19 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2025 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 12/02/2025

On [xxx], my 2025 Hyundai Tucson hybrid displayed a red dashboard alert instructing me to “stop vehicle and check brake system. ” the vehicle experienced brake system warnings and a loss of power steering, requiring me to pull over. I immediately contacted Hyundai through the bluelink system, and the bluelink operator confirmed that multiple fault codes were visible in Hyundai’s system. I scheduled a Hyundai service appointment at the next available date. On [xxx], before the scheduled service appointment could occur, the vehicle experienced a sudden and total electrical failure while traveling at highway speed (approximately 65 mph). The vehicle lost propulsion and displayed brake system warnings. After reaching the shoulder, the vehicle also lost hazard lights while disabled in heavy rain. The vehicle was towed via Hyundai bluelink to a Hyundai dealership and removed from service. The occupants at the time of the incident included my wife and my minor child. The loss of propulsion, braking warnings, power steering, and hazard lights created a serious risk of a rear-end collision and injury. Due to repeated and escalating safety-related failures involving electrical, braking, and steering systems, I no longer consider the vehicle safe to operate. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

20 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2025 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 11/30/2025

The forward attention warning system performs erratically, frequently disabling the adaptive cruise control without warning. Even when it does emit a warning, which again, is erractic, the warning is barely audible. When conditions, such as grooved pavement or loud cabin noises, such as when a window or moonroof is open, the warning is completely in-audible. Similarly, the warning message displayed is not readable within the 0. 5 - 1. 0 sec (best estimate) that it is shown, as it is several lines of text - a distraction in itself. The disabling occurred during times when this adas feature is most value, cruising at highway speeds in heavier traffic - a time when automatic speed control and braking, along with maintaining a clear distance, are all invaluable to driver safety.

21 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2018 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 11/12/2025

The engine and engine management system of my 2018 Hyundai Tucson experienced repeated failures resulting in loss of propulsion and unsafe drivability. In November 2025, while traveling approximately 75 mph on a freeway, the vehicle suddenly entered limp mode without any prior warning, causing an abrupt loss of power in active highway traffic. No warning lamps or messages appeared before the failure. After the loss of propulsion occurred, the check engine light, battery light, and oil light illuminated sequentially. Diagnostic trouble codes p1326 and p0326 were recorded. Initial inspection indicated severe oil consumption despite a recent oil change less than 2,000 miles earlier. A Hyundai dealership replaced knock sensors under warranty. Shortly after release (30 miles), the vehicle again exhibited severe drivability issues, including a flashing check engine light, and required immediate towing. A second Hyundai dealership replaced the short engine block under warranty. Approximately 180 miles after the engine replacement, the vehicle again developed unsafe drivability symptoms, including delayed throttle response, failure to accelerate unless the accelerator was fully depressed multiple times, jerking or lugging when slowing or stopped, and a faint whining noise. The check engine light illuminated again. These failures represent repeated loss of propulsion and unsafe operation following manufacturer-approved repairs, including full engine replacement. The vehicle has been out of service for approximately 57 days and remains in the custody of a Hyundai dealership awaiting diagnostics. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. The sudden and unpredictable loss of power at highway speed created a significant risk of collision and serious injury to the driver and surrounding motorists.

22 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2017 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 10/27/2025

- kept regular 5k-6k oil changes since 2022 when I purchased the vehicle -took the vehicle to a Hyundai dealership, multiple times, to ask about the engine stalling at a stop or slow turn, and/or jerking. -July '25 new oil change and flushed engine -October'25- no engine or oil lights. Engine seized and needs to be replaced. - VIN didn't populate recall but the symptoms are the same.

23 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2017 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 10/21/2025

The contact owns a 2017 Hyundai Tucson. The contact stated that while depressing the accelerator pedal, the vehicle failed to respond while stopped at a red light. A dealer was contacted. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed; however, the diagnostic result was unknown. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 95,000.

24 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2023 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 10/19/2025

As I was parking my car in a parking spot going about 5 miles or less. My car surged forward at a very accelerated speed, and I ended up running into a brushed and a metal fence, which is what stopped me. There were no warnings that went off on my car. No emergency brakes, nothing.

25 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2025 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 10/19/2025

In October 2025, the center display screen in my 2025 Hyundai Tucson hybrid began shutting off repeatedly while the vehicle was in motion. The screen controls essential functions including speed information, navigation, backup camera, safety alerts, and hybrid system data. When it shuts off, all of these features become unavailable without warning. The failure is intermittent and continues to reoccur. The component involved is the center display/infotainment system and may affect related radar and safety-system warnings. The dealer stated they duplicated the issue and reported that it was repaired, but the same display failure occurred again afterward while I was driving. The vehicle is currently with the dealer and is available for inspection upon request. My safety and the safety of others is put at risk because when the screen shuts off, I lose access to critical vehicle information. This has happened at highway speeds, including one instance where the display shut off approximately eight times within 20 minutes. In addition, the radar warning system has activated when no nearby vehicles were present, creating distraction and uncertainty. The problem has been reproduced by the dealership, documented by me on video, and reported to the manufacturer. The vehicle has been inspected multiple times by an authorized Hyundai service center and reviewed by the manufacturer’s customer service department. There have been no police or insurance inspections because the defect has not resulted in a crash, though the safety risk is significant. Warning symptoms include intermittent radar system alerts appearing without surrounding traffic. These symptoms began in October 2025 and have continued even after dealer repairs. The display failure persists and the vehicle remains unsafe to operate. P. S. I cannot upload video evidence as the website would not allow me and I have to start over.

26 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2017 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 10/14/2025

Issue was first noticed in October 2025 - there are roughly 70k miles on the vehicle. It is a 2017 vehicle, and has regular service (oil, inspection). There was a class action lawsuit for this issue (wylie v Hyundai), which was settled prior to the purchase of the vehicle. Vehicle stutters when shifting into and out of first gear. A local mechanic and Hyundai both confirmed that it was a transmission defect. The Hyundai dealership initially thought it was an actuator issue, but has since said that it is a faulty gear assembly. It has a dct (dual clutch transmission). Vehicle suddenly stops and is erratic when driving. Coming out of a stop risks the vehicle shuddering; going through an intersection or turning cross traffic is extremely dangerous as the vehicle could stop momentarily and cause a collision. Vehicle is unable to maintain flow of traffic. The problem appears to be widespread - there are various forums we found where others have this same issue. There were no warnings on the dashboard prior to the issue. When issue appeared a check engine light was displayed.

27 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2025 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 10/09/2025

In my 2024 tuscon, Hyundai has connected their cruise control to their driver assistance function. This system includes a camera on the steering column that watches the drivers eyes. If for any reason, they cannot see your eyes they will shutdown cruise control without warning. This can be caused by simply wearing sun glasses. So this forces the customer to choose between two safety features. Cruise control which we all know has signifcant safety implications reducing stress fatique, etc. And bypass all the driver assistance systems. There are people who are putting black tape over the camera and disabling das so they can use their cruise control due to the inability to wear sun glasses when heading west (obviously even within a curve, so it shuts down unexectedly in the curve). Surely that is not an acceptable solution. Hyundai should add an option to ignore the eye checks while using the cruise control but so far they have totally ignored it. You can google for "Hyundai cruise control sunglasses" and will see a lot of complaints and people disabling safety features. Obviously there is no specific event, this is happening all the time in the us.

28 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2025 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 10/09/2025

Vehiclr has been doing this since 4 montbs after purchase, then a recall came out we were told it would fix the problem. 3 times now since the recall the odometer screen and media screen will go blank while your driving. The car wont accelerate, turn signals, and steering colum becomes hard to operate properly. We have had to near accidents 1 being less than 2 hours in August of 2025 after Hyundai just claimed to repair the issue. We were driving on [xxx], screen went out, we lost full control of steering, had to wrestle with the wheel to keep car in its lane, we were almost hit by semi truck and ran off road. We immediately took car back to dealership, and shop assistant mgr was able to see for himself, it wasnt working after theu just made repair. They kept car a few days we were very reluctant to take vehicle back, out of these safety concerns, and my family having to ride in this vehicle. We took ot back as the dealership assured us the matter had been taken care. Then last week on [xxx], in the evening was driving down street and the screens started to flicker and the car wouldnt stay centeryed in the lane, then it happened both went blank, the car slowed down and the fight began on operating vehicle. In regards to no turn signal would go off, it wouldnt accelerate, the steering wouldnt operate correctly, if o wanted to center the car in the lane, it would pull the car another direction. A 7 minute ride home took over 20 minutes. We took car back to world Hyundai matteson, the next morning and called Hyundai corporate office to inform them we didnt want the vehicle back. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

29 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2025 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 10/04/2025

First incident was July 2025 . Car had 1300 miles. Would not accelerate over 25 miles an hour. Made an appointment with route 60 Hyundai in vero bch, FL. They could not find anything wrong. (invoice # [xxx]) second time [xxx]. 3009 miles on the speedometer. The car would not accelerate over 4mph. After several minutes acceleration was possible. We will once again return to route 60 Hyundai. Car could not get thru a busy intersection. Very dangerous. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

30 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2025 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 10/03/2025

The forward attention monitor (or driver attention monitor/warning. . . Or something similarly named) that monitors the driver's eyes to insure he/she is looking forward at all times) is overly sensitive and shuts off the adaptive cruise control and lane keeping systems. While it does this, there is a beeping, and a text display on the dash that requires reading, it is probably a sentence long, further distracting the driver from looking at the road. . . . This potentially would cause a following vehicle, or a vehicle in an adjacent lane to make a defensive maneuver, or to have to brake abruptly, as one example. . . Basically not safe) adjusting the steering column to a safe driving position for me (the eye sensor is located on top of the steering column) also caused this system to turn off the cruise control and lane keeping systems constantly, causing me to have to raise it to an uncomfortable driving position. Also, related to this, the hvac controls have very dim indicator lights to let the the driver know the fan speed or status of the a/c, making it very hard for the driver to see it and make quick changes before the stupid eye sensor (forward attention monitor or driver attention monitor) cuts off the other safety features. I wear non polarized sunglasses to be able drive safely in the very bright arizona sun, and to see the hud which is impossible to read if wearing polarized sunglasses. I have worn sunglasses while driving for over 50 years. This 2025 Hyundai Tucson limited hybrid is the first car that has this very overly sensitive driver attention warning system and if it is not adjusted quickly will cause me to sell this otherwise excellent vehicle at a great financial loss. My hope is that it can be adjusted with a software update or physical parts update, before this causes an very unfortunate vehicle accident. It makes driving this vehicle extremely unsafe. I have asked the dealer more than once about this and they say there is no current fix. Thank yo.

31 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2025 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 09/22/2025

My vehicle was purchased new and has less than 5100 miles on it. The screen and heads-up display randomly begin to glitch and then simply go dark. I can't see my speed, fuel or charge levels or any important data while driving. This has happened multiple times already. My vehicle is a 2025 model. Interestingly, Hyundai had the same type issue on 2024 models and issued a TSB to resolve this issue, but have not issued any repair for the 2025 models. This is a major safety issue.

32 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2025 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 09/21/2025

The foward attention warning feature needs to be updated to allow owners to shut off the system. When traveling at highway speeds, the speed control shuts off without warning! this has become a possibilty of causing a rear end collision! please enact a solution to this problem. . Please refer to the Hyundai website for many more complaints concerning the foward attention warning features. . Thank you.

33 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2023 Hyundai Tucson

Failure Date: 09/11/2025

My 2023 Hyundai tuscon has 36000 miles. Started running rough with a slight noise. First noticed on wed [xxx]. On Thursday [xxx] I went to start my car and it stalled. Finally after letting it sit a few minutes it started but only to have the sgi light flash yellow and stay yellow for the remainder of the drive. That day I made an appt at my local Hyundai dealership in brandon florida. They kept my car. Fast forward, Monday September 15th I was notified that the car had lost a significant amount of oil. Car was inspected and free of any leaks. Tech stated because of the low oil & oil pressure the battery life was significantly impacted. I would need an oil change & new battery. Upon arriving back I came across an article stating that excessive oil consumption is common among these vehicles and the dealer wasn't even going to notify me of this issue. They were not honest and I want to file a formal complaint knowing that this is well known issue. I feel unsafe driving my children around and am upset that a recall has not been issued to fix this. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

34 Vehicle Speed Control problem of the 2016 Hyundai Tucson

I leased a 2016 Hyundai Tucson from metcalf auto plaza [xxx]. Every week since then I have had to return the car for repairs. It got to a point where neil suggested he can trade it for another but each and every vehicle I test drove to replace my car was not ready to be on the road but according to them every car had just got out the shop. Instead of trying to have issues resolved the mechanics decide to make "jokes" as if your pain and suffering is a joke. Since I did not want a trade in and wanted my car fixed instead neil tried to tell me that this was my final offer which I declined because why not just fix my car? I went to talk to neil in person September 9, 2025 about getting my car fixed and the frustrations I am having because having to return the car weekly and I havent had it for a month is outrageous. [xxx] I was driving the Hyundai on the highway with my children in the car and the electricity to the car completely cut off but came right back on, I got off the highway and the car did it again and this time the wheel locked up and I almost wrecked the car. I called metcalf and the only thing they could tell me was they can tow my car to metcalf but me and my children had to find our own means of transportation. Every time I called to have my car serviced and told them about what I would hear and feel they could never make the car "do it again". I am beyond frustrated, upset and terrified because I have been telling them about smoking coming from the engine, rattling noise etc. My kids lives were put in danger and the only thing they could say was "I apologize and we can tow the car to the shop". Did not care if we had transportation and have never offered to give us any after continously getting stranded in the car. Now the car is towed to their shop once again and the car wouldnt even turn over for me to get it out of the middle of the street. I was blocking traffic and had to have the police block information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia).
