My windshield cracked. The vehicle was stationary. Nothing hit it. It started out as a 5inch long crack and is now 18inches. I cant feel it on the inside, or outside of the glass. It is from the inside.

I am complaining about my car's rearview camera, I can literally not see what's going on behind me in low light. The entire purpose of the camera is to promote safety so people can see what is behind them, this is not the case with my vehicle. I also have an option in the menu to have an audible warning when backing up, this is not working either. I have raised the issue with Hyundai and they just tell me that is how the car is designed and there is nothing they can do. How do you design a car to have a useless back up camera? it seems like it is a general problem with the 2020 Hyundai Tucson and I feel it should be investigated and corrected. I have another 2020 Hyundai model, and the backup camera is crystal clear. I am attaching photos of the Tucson camera quality, which is worse the majority of the time, as well as the quality on another Hyundai Tucson.
I submitted a safety issue with my car's front and rearview camera. In low light, it is impossible to see what is behind me or how far I am from the object behind me. The federal government mandates backup cameras but does that mean a manufacturer can just put any camera on car without it working properly? it is not only a problem on my car, I have looked at other 2020 Hyundai Tucson ultimate trim levels, and it has the same problem. We can not wait until we run over someone before someone steps in. Please review and take my complaint seriously.
There is a stress crack in the windshield. We noticed it in the month of September. The windshield has not been replaced and the crack came out of no where. It is completely smooth inside and out. The windshield replacement companies I have called usually say this is due to incorrect installation of a windshield.

When I purchase the car there's window tint applied across the whole windshield of the vehicle. It look like steam is coming from it causing it hard to see out of the windshield when driving especially at night.

Panoramic sunroof unexpectedly exploded, without any external (or internal) cause while driving on interstate 635. Fortunately, it was closed, so no glass penetrated the interior of the car.

Since shortly after purchase, the vehicle's backup camera has experienced blacking out after the initialization blackout with regular frequency. When putting the car in reverse the screen initially shows a black screen until the camera intializes. Then the picture of behind the vehicle shows, followed by the backup guide lines. With the vehicle in motion in reverese the camera will again periodically turn black obstructing the view of the driver. The vehcile has been brought in multiple times for repair but the service departemnt frequently says they cannot replicate the issue. After getting Hyundai north America involved the service department took it in again. This time we were able to replicate the issue. The rear camera was replaced but this did not resolve the concern. Upon return to the service department including an open ticket with Hyundai's technical service line, the service department thought they had replicated the issue but only saw the initialization black out at which point they claimed this is as "works as designed". This was not the issue, the issue is once the system has loaded and the vehicle is in motion it blacks out causing a safety issue when backing out onto streets and in busy parking lots.
The car is only 5 years old this is the first time I'm taking it for inspection and it is reading fuel system not ready. When I both the car they say I have a ten year warranty or 100. 000 whichever is first. My car is neither but they are telling me that it is not covered for them to check it is $230 plus tax. And my wiper blades.

Headlights project a weird dark shadow on both sides and it makes it very difficult to see in front of me just off center on both sides. This is a very dangerous situation to not feel safe enough to see the road ahead of me.

The rear hatch glass has a destination line about 2 inches down from the top of glass that runs the full width of the glass. The dealership has replaced it 2 times and all have the same defect. After the second glass replaced I took it to a glass shop. They verified it has defect line in glass. Defect present at all times.
The vehicle failed to accelerate on a circle causing me and another vehicle to collide. I have taken the car into the shop on numerous occasions the first time at 150 miles on the odometer and continuing for over a year, each time the dealership insists that no problem exists or existed, neither Hyundai nor the dealership will acknowledge that there is an inherent safety issue with this 7 speed transmission, this vehicle decelerates, hesitates from a stop and does not always handle in a safe manner. I am extremely careful and cognizant of these issues when I am driving always taking extra precautions however, in this instance that slight hesitation in acceleration was enough to produce severe damage to my vehicle , substantial monetary loss and injury.
I was driving approximately 65mph east on interstate 10 in louisiana around mile marker 257. 3 when the hood latch failed and my hood flew up, smashing my windshield and completely blocking my field of view. There were no cars around me as it was 4:30 am and I was able to safely pull off to the side of the highway. It appears that both the primary and secondary hood latches have failed, causing the hood to fly open.
Driving in a winter storm and hit ice and then went through a wooden fence and the air bags did not go off. I hit my head and the seat belt left a bruise.

Windshield wipers stopped briefly on windshield during rain while driving. Following day while parked preparing to depart wipers were turned on, wipers moved up about six inches and stopped on the windshield. No response at wipers from controls during hi-lo, intermittent or wash settings. Unable to use vehicle. The following day the dealer service department found loose wiper motor wiring connector and pins.

On 3/23/2010 while driving my 2008 Hyundai Tucson (mileage 17372 )on a rainy day, my front wipers stopped in the 1:00 position (approx) restricting my visual sight of other vehicles and objects on the road. I was driving on a high traffic road thru town. I was terrified since I could not just stop the car and had to drive approx 100' with poor visibility. I called the dealership to report the incident & to get service. The technician told me it was a safety hazard driving with no wipers and to get it in. I explained that I lived 50 minutes away and had to wait for the weather to clear before attempting the drive. On 3/25/10 I drove my Tucson to the dealership where I was told I would be charged 47. 50 for the repair if it ended up being a nut, due to the warranty not covering it. I stated that the vehicle was new, it was a safety hazard & that I refused to pay such a charge. I told the tech that if I was charged I would follow thru with the proper channels to complain about such charge. After servicing my Tucson I was told that they found the wipers loose at the motor and they found the nut off linkage. They replaced nut, tested the Tucson and said the vehicle was done. The gentlemen told me this nut become loose due to snow/ice being on my windshield & trying to use the wipers. He stated that they manufacture it this way so you dont blow the wiper motor. So must be you cant drive when its snowing or sleeting out either since this could cause the nut to become loose on the wiper transmission?. . . This makes no sense to me! it was raining out. Needless to say the technician said he got it covered under warranty. So no charge. . . .

Snow and rain ice storm, warmed up car scraped windows well, got on rte 3 @ 530am went from slow to hi on wipers due to visibility. The wipers just stopped. Got off highway and drove to work with window open. Called dealership. It appears this is a "common problem 1 of 3 things "we tried fuse the nut that holds on the wiper and then we called service and they instructed us to remove blades and cover to motor were an arm fell off due to a nut coming off. Still did not work brought to dealership the next day, and was then charged $60 dollars because we attempted to fix it, so I could drive home. The vehicle is still under warranty. This was a danger to drive in such weather and if it happens as frequently as they say I feel it should be a recall. The dealer I bought my car from said he repaired 4 vehicles that storm for the same thing.
