Infiniti G35 owners have reported 5 problems related to clutch (under the power train category). The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The 2007 Infiniti G35 sedan manual transmission's clutch has been known to stick to the floor, thus stranding it's driver. This is a problem with either the master or slave clutch cylinder. This is random and does not matter how the car is being driven. I feel this is a safety issue which should be addressed by Infiniti. I personally know several people who work for Infiniti, and they have recognized this as a common problem. I feel a technical service bulletin is necessary to address this issue.

Clutch on vehicle 2006 G35 coupe with 19,300 miles went bad. Read online and researched and found that under 20,000 miles is very low for this to be happening under "normal wear and tear" conditions. Dealership was not willing to cover 4yr - 60,000 mile factory warranty, and was told this was considered normal wear and tear similar to brake pads!! clutch?. . . Brake pads? same?!?! they would only cover if part was found to be defective. Had to order replacement parts that were tested to be more durable than oem version of clutch. Seems to happen often in this model car and very early on in the vehicles life.

Usually after the car has not been driven for a few days, I will get in and press the clutch and it will sink to the ground (I. E. There is no pressure in the clutch line). After pumping it a few times, it will usually rebuild pressure and be drivable. I have requested that my dealership fix the problem, but they claim to be unable to diagnose it, regardless of my explanation. They have bled the clutch line at one point, temporarily fixing the problem, but it is not a sustained solution.
Engine consumes 2. 5 qrts oil every 800 miles & only 19-20 miles per gal gas and this decreases with oil consumption. Clutch assy faulty/ grinding noise increased with mileage ,windows have binding noise up/down, passenger air bag light does not illuminate when seat is occupied or unoccupied.
: the contact stated there is a loud rubbing noise from the front end, which can be heard above the radio. The dealership determined the noise was a cupping on the inside of the tires, this is caused by the vehicle. The tires need to be replaced every 10,000 miles. Also, the clutch was grinding, but the dealership refuses to look at this.
