Im currently having trouble with my center console losing power to my ac and radio. The problems range from center console display shortages, ac blasting at full strength and being unable to change the setting, to the radio intermittently putting out sound. This problem has led to safety issues with the car in that the inability to control the ac results in fogged over windshields leading to poor visibility. I've read online that this problem affects many owners of the same car. It was such a problem that Infiniti recalled the '03 G35 sedan for the exact same problems. It is embarrassing that inifiniti does not stand by their product across the board. If they acknowledged that it was a problem in the sedan why are they not responsible for fixing the same problem in the two door model. Would like to know how this problem may be remedied.
I have an Infiniti G35 (2003) that has suddenly had problems with the heat and air controls. When the problem started, it would go out after the car was on for more than 10 minutes. Now, the controls do not work at all. This can potentially create a safety problem for a driver when the windshield fogs up in either cold weather conditions (after being garaged) or humid weather conditions after a rain shower in the hot summer. This is a serious safety issue when the windshield fogs up as the driver is operating the vehicle. After doing an internet search about this problem, I found that there are literally thousands of other 2003 G35 owners with the same problem. Also, Infiniti knows of the problem and the safety concern, but has not done anything about it to fix the problem for all vehicles in which this occurs. There was only a voluntary posting and it only included vehicles made in a certain time period. Obviously, the timeframe established by Infiniti is not correct as there are many cases where this defect is still occurring. This safety concern needs to be addressed and corrected. I have not had a crash as a result of this defect, but I do not want to have one in the future. Others with the same problem most likely feel the same way. . . . . . Some may have actually had a crash because of this defect. This should be investigated.
Center console control buttons do not operate. Can't operate defroster and can't see out front windshield.
I have a 2004 Infiniti G35 sedan. My audio failed and a/c stuck . . . The same problem they voluntarily repaired in 2003. (service bulletin #03007a and NHTSA item #10001253) it is caused by a failure of the audio finisher circuit board. Because of this, I am unable to turn on the window defroster and have difficulty seeing through the windshield when there is condensation due to certain weather conditions. When I brought my car to the dealership in roseville where I bought it, they said they would check on it but knowing there was only 10 days until my extended warranty was up, they never followed up. I have seen many 2004 owners on line with the same problem but Nissan/Infiniti don't seem to care. This is definitely a safety issue as my windshield fogs up when I drive to work, which is always early since I am a nurse and af reservist.

I own a 2003 infinity G35 sedan. The climate control system often turns on by it self. Depending on the weather this causes the windshield to fog so it is had to see while driving. I have seen on the online forums that a lot of people have this problem. The dealers want to charge $ 1,200 to replace these units.
