Direct adaptive steering became extremely stiff while backing out of parking spot after sitting overnight at zero degree temperatures. Multiple restarts did not remedy the situation (chassis control system error remained illuminated). Ended up towing the vehicle to the dealership. Dealership mentioned there was recall and a software fix yet I never received a notification. Still waiting for control cable in steering column that was broken while maneuvering car back into parking spot.
