My issues are related to the safety recall campaign 1997-2003 Qx4 in salt states front strut housing corrosion. I brought my car in for the recall at Infiniti of bloomington, minnesota and they only fixed the driver’s side strut housing using a brace but only painted the passenger’s side. Now the passenger’s side strut housing shows corrosion and some perforation but repairable still under the recall. As of today 01/23/2023 the dealer and Infiniti refused to do recall on passenger’s side despite the car is not safe to drive. They knowingly know the passenger’s side will corrode but still let me drive the car with the defective which they refuse to fix.

When you let off the gas peddle the rearend starts a violently shakeing back and forth and will cause you to drive over something or someone due to defective bushings!!!how can they sell us crap that can cost the lives of so many people and not honor a recall on rear bushings. . . I nearly shut down the interstate on my last drive. . . . . .

The SUV has been recalled for unusual rusting of the entire underside, the NHTSA said the struts may rust and break away from the body, that is happening. We called the Nissan dealer in winchester virginia, they lied and said there is no such recall.
Car suspension shimmies, shakes and whole car rolls at highway speeds.
This concern is involving the r1109 recall issued by Infiniti. The recall was performed six years ago, however rust, and holes in the metal are now visible. I was told that because the recall was already performed, there was nothing they could do to assist me. This vehicle will soon be unsafe to drive.

Extreme corrosion in the undercarriage prevents us from driving the car. Even though Infiniti had a recall for this issue will not help us. Purchased this car new and will never purchase another Infiniti.
Rear suspension bottoms out with 4 adults in vehicle.
I was told about a recall on this vehicle due to frame body strut housing corrosion, I'm hearing a clicking sound as I proceed to make turns now. I took it in to be looked at to see if noise I was hearing could be repaired, upon the mechanic placing the vehicle on the lift he noticed the corrosion on front end of the strut housing.

Nothing have not happen but im noticed those things and looked up recalls and would like it fixed.
All 1997 thru 2003 frame suspension, suspension body panels were improperly undercoated to prevent rusting. Warning was issued in 2011, as third owner of vehicle, I was never notified. Causing imminent body harm and possibly death. Infinity was totally responsible for follow thru, and should be held responsible for my $20,000 loss, not to mention risk to my life. Thanks a lot you money mongers! you should be held responsible for failure of notification.
Massive rust of frame and unit body suspension components causing a sudden loss of steering, braking and control of vehicle without warning. The cause is no rust under coating, poor design, poor welds, prone to tear loose from firewall and frame causing catastrophic failure and possibly my own death. Then their refusal to compensate in any way for their design errors is unacceptable. There was a sudden drop of my vehicle height at the drivers side wheel almost causing loss of control. A warning letter available in 2011 was never sent to me, possibly making it possible to repair.
Accelerating grinding sound in back chassis. Steering is harder than usual. Im not getting the power to accelerate properly all the time. Eventually the problem with salt cause im in indiana too much salt on roads and I dont think things are sealed completely from manufacturers.
My frame an body on my car rusting very badly. The frame an wheel well on the driver side of car is very badly rusted. I went for service because of a rocking back an forth they told me too get help right a way because my frame was about to break due to rust $1100. Cost is there a recall. I cant afford this cost. I really need my car its my life line. Please help me get my car repaired.
When driving the vehicle above 45 mph, the vehicle started shaking and swaying making it very difficult to keep the vehicle on the road. Took the vehicle to an Infiniti dealer who stated in their inspection report, "found passenger side frame rail mount (cradle to frame) broken and cracked". Verbally the dealer said that the car's frame "simply rusted apart. ".

The frame of the car is rusted out, making the truck unsafe for driving. The rust is also noticed on the running boards, and a large portion of the rear suspension system. I have had the recall fix applied on the passenger side, however rust is spreading like wild fire throughout the entire frame.
While on vacation with the entire family in the vehicle and traveling down the turnpike at 75mph I started down a incline with the cruise control on and when the motor started coasting or not under load the rear end started to shack side to side so bad that I had to get on the brakes and slow down to 35 mph and then it started to do it a this speed also (anytime not under load from gas petal it starts to wobble. Found the problem to be the rear track arm bushings where installed to make them fail by Nissan,. The bushing arunder shear load as well as tension load. Not a good set up. Cost to fix $1000. 00 ($245. 00 in parts and $705. 00 in labor to remove and replace. Nissan has a service bulletin but refuses to replace or even help with the cost of this deadly problem.

I recently bought this car today and it was driving fine at low speeds, but until I accelerated over 40mph the rear back was swerving left to right after I release my foot off the gas. Almost had 4 crashes. Something in the rear is making the car swerve like its losing traction but only when it's released off the gas pedal. It was the biggest fatal part of experience within driving of my life. All I know is that it is pretty rusted on the strut areas since I checked if something was broken under the car. Low speeds around 30mph the car drives fine but higher speed its like, I have to keep accelerating to prevent the car from swerving in the rear. My life was endangered for 40 minutes of my life on the highway. Please contact me, this is a very dangerous situation I need to repair.

Side to side vehicle shake. At speeds over 40 mph any bump will send the car into a violent shake that can only be stopped by applying the brakes. I replaced struts, balanced tires and had wheel alignment, yet the problem persists.
