The vehicle was completely dead and would not start when battery was jumped. Battery was replaced once it was discovered that the original battery was completely dead. Once the vehicle started , the engine light was visible on the dash. The vehicle was making a very loud humming sound coming from under the hood. The sound got louder and intensified as the rpms increased.

Tl- the contact owns a 2012 Infiniti Qx56. The contact stated that the vehicle loses power failing to accelerated. In addition; the contact also stated that there was an humming noise coming from the engine. No warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to west houston Infiniti dealer, (12200 katy fwy, houston, TX 77079, (281) 589-8900) where it was diagnosed and informed that the brake was wearing down. The contact stated that the dealer did not inform him about the humming noise which the vehicle was taken in for. The vehicle was not repaired. In addition, the contact stated that the power steering pump was replaced at an independent mechanic. The humming noise recurred. The contact stated that the mechanic called the Infiniti dealer and was informed that it was the taming chanine. The approximate failure mileage was 70,000. Aw.
