Tl- the contact owns a 2005 Infiniti Qx56. The contact stated that while traveling 30 mph, the instrument panel fuel gauge accurately displayed the vehicles fuel amount. The fuel gauge amount displayed 1/4 tank of fuel when there was actually no fuel in the tank. The manufacture was notified. The vehicle was diagnosed by a private mechanic that suggested that the fuel sender unit be replaced with a new sender card. The failure mileage was 100,200 and the current mileage was 100,220.
