2 Engine Clicking And Tapping Noises problem

Failure Date: 05/08/2017

I was pulling away from a stop sign when I received an error message stating "4wd unavailable". I then heard a loud clunking sound and lost power to all the wheels. After pulling over, I shut the vehicle off and restarted it. I placed the car in drive and a clunking sound persisted. When giving the vehicle gas, the engine rev'd but no power went to the wheels. I then shut the vehicle off and had it towed to the local Jeep dealership.
