Since I purchased the vehicle the rear window have never gone down seen the dealer and a Jeep dealership (f. X. Caprara watertown, NY 13601 ). I have already replace the front left ball joint and now the front right ball joint needs to be replace. I have roughly 55000 miles on the vehicle. I notice the noise mostly when turning this has been an on going issue since purchase.

2 Ball Joint problem of the 1996 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 05/23/2007

The contact owns a 1996 Jeep Cherokee. While driving 55 mph, the vehicle shakes violently from left to right. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who changed the upper and lower right ball joints. After the repair, the shaking had become worse and the vehicle is unable to be driven. The current mileage is 120,000 and failure mileage was 118,000. Updated 02-04-08.
