When I bought has brake problem have extended warranty and all protections on place bucking after starting at 1 to 5 then when stooping. Lights panel seems not correct not illimious one lighting panels to see going on and off 2 times mileage is broken I recorded mileage to fro. Work only 20 miles incorrect values sense I bought .

This car completely shut off while on the highway. Computer change out. Seals on the hatch leaking water. Should be recalled -this was problem before and sold me the vehicle. Glitches in the drive- pauses or jumps speed. Now issues with radiator. It’s crap.

Driving at night with headlights got warning “license plate light out. ” needed to reverse shortly after and the car immediately applied the brakes because it said the backup camera was unusable without the license plate light. Shut the car off for a while and when I tried to start it again, it three the following codes in sequence. Park sense unavailable service electronic stability control service electronic throttle control license plate light out service park brake then the start screen appears. Brake + push button to start doing that brings up “service transmission restart in park with vehicle at zero speed. So again I pressed the brake and start button. It then started, repeated all previous error codes leaving warning icons active for all related systems and rendered them all inop. The last screen says “service transmission. ” from there all ability to check the status of any other system on the vehicle is inhibited. The transmission slams into gear. And then works in the first two gears normally. Also notable is that 4x4 is inhibited and the ac will not work. Prior to the license plate light out warning, everything worked normally. Now every system on the car has gone haywire. And I am pretty sure the Jeep folks will gladly overbill me for their defective design. I think some logic module or whatever name Jeep uses for it is somehow the culprit, and the car is doing exactly what it was programmed to do under the current conditions.

Unknown: headlights will dim/flicker making it harder to see at night and digital display on dashboard will go completely off causing driver to not be able to see current speed, fuel gauge, etc.

My battery went out and I literally replaced it last year. Also when I replaced it last year the back light would stay on sometimes all night and day I was worried it could start a fire or something dealer didn't even bother checking it and left it like that and replaced the battery. Last month my vehicle wouldn't start and no warning or nothing before it just died on me good thing I had it in my driveway when this happened.

When it rains water leaks into my cargo area filling up my spare tire well. It also soakes the insulation in the sides of vehicle. It has cause a short in the rear ligts on vehicle which I am not sure but could cause a fire or electrical failure. Has there been any recalls for such . Last occured on or about.

I was driving mid day today and I noticed my display on the dash had gone dim as if the headlights had turned on and the dash lights dimmed expecting it to be dark inside. I then got a ding about the auto shutoff when stopped feature not working (this has been dinging for a few years and hasn’t worked since shortly after I got the vehicle in 2018, however it’s been working the last few weeks). I was pulling into a grocery store looking for a spot when all of a sudden the car died. I lost brakes and power steering but luckily was going slow. I turned off the key, put it in park, and it turned right back on. I pulled into a spot and then noticed the engine light on. I’ve read countless forums about this exact issue. Other owners have experienced this since their Jeep was brand new. I’ve had this for 5 years without issues until lately. Prior to the is event, my car was experiencing the same issue with the display dimming. A week prior to the stall today, I was driving around 70 mph when the dash dimmed and I think went completely dark for a bit. I got a ding about the auto shutoff and another stating that 4wd was not available. I tried to turn my headlights on and off but there was nothing. I didn’t have any blinkers either. I pulled over, turned it off and back on and all was fine the rest of the hour-long drive home. I am extremely concerned about it stalling, especially if I’m turning in front of traffic at an intersection. This is not uncommon and other owners are concerned for their safety as well.

Vehicle was parked at 10pm. Vehicle ignition was off. Vehicle was locked. Nothing left on. No one returned to the car for annything. Approximately 3 and half hours later, electrical fire started inside the drivers side rear quarter panel under the taillight (on the body, not the taillight on the lift gate) . By the time the car alarm was heard, the fire was spreading from the panel into the rest rear of the vehicle. Fire department arrived and extinguished the fire.

The vehicle would overcharge in which made the vehicle loss all power,lighting, and steering control. U had to come to a complete stop and restart the vehicle which would put it into limp mode and not handle properly.

While on a road trip for the thanksgiving holiday on interstate 95, the in dash information cluster advised me that the right turn indicator on the vehicle failed. Upon pulling into a service station and inspecting the vehicle it was confirmed that the right rear turn indicator had indeed failed and would no longer illuminate. In addition to the failure of the turn signal the lane departure features of the vehicle were then disabled. When taking the vehicle in for service on the week of November 28th, I was advised that there was a known issue with water infiltration in the housing. The manufacturer of the vehicle is aware of the issue and has a 45 step process to diagnose the problem. As of today, December 16th, I have been unable for a dealer to obtain and install a replacement fixture to return my vehicle to road worthy operation. Florida statutes govern the safe operation of motor vehicles on its highways and my vehicle currently violates sections 316. 155 and 316. 610, preventing me from operating said vehicle on the highways of the state. I am unable to operate the vehicle lawfully on the roads but am still required to make monthly note payments on an vehicle in which I can not use legally.

The shifter service light comes on a lot when I am driving and it scares me. I had to get off the road and turn the car off and back on for the light to go off!.

The transmission jerks when at a light it jerks forward. This is unsafe as I feel it could hit the car in front. I reported it to the dealer which I purchased and they say the transmission is gone. There is only 36898 miles on it. The dashboard lights shuts off while driving not allowing you to see the speed of the vechile or any other instruments.

The display that tells you how fast you are going and how much gas ect it jerks in traffic while sitting in traffic and when first out in gear it tends to jerk.

In may 2021 I leases a brand new car. In Jan 2021 I was driving my car and at a busy intersection, my car stalled. I just got a full tank of gas but the low fuel tank light came on. The car would not turn off, the clutch was stuck and I could not shift out of any gear. I brought my car in to the service center where I bought my car and let them know that I think electrical issues were causing problems with my fuel gauge and my clutch. They held on to my car from Jan 20-Mar 28th they could not say what electrical problems caused my car to stall or my fuel tank to register as low but they gave me a whole new transmission. At this time I had only about 2,700 miles on the car. Less than a month later I stalled again on a busy road but I was able to pull the car over and waited for a family member to arrive to help. After letting the car sit for a little I was able to start the car again however the low fuel light came back on and the engine light came on. Additionally this time I was not able to shut off the car, radio, blinkers did not work, as well as break lights did not work. I brought the car back in and expressed my concerns about the electrical problems causing saftey issues on April 20 2021. I drove to the dealership with my hazards in which it stalled 3 times on my way there. They had my car til April 26 and said a cluster of alerts came up and the reset them but they couldn't guarantee it wouldn't happen again. Only one day later I started my car to find the fuel tank alert on again and the car not being able to turn off and brake lights, signal lights were not working and the windshield wipers going crazy. I then called a tow truck to tow my car as it was unsafe to drive. Now my car has been in the shop since April 27 almost 50 days and counting and they still can't find what is causing the issues. They want to release my car again but cannot guarantee it will not happen again. I am terrified to drive the car as nothing was fixed and very unsafe.

When stoped car turned off. Car cant turn on and I need to wait a while. When stoped and going to turn it turns off. It stalls a lot especially when stoped at a light or stop sign.

My 2014 Jeep has been experiencing intermittent shut downs, the dash goes dead at random times for a few seconds and then comes back on the issue continues. This issue started in December 2021 during that time I was driving at night and the dash, exterior lights and interior lights started flickering. Now this issue occurs 90% of the time when I drive, sometimes when the dash goes off different warning lights come on, tcs, srs, power steering and if the vehicle is traveling below 5mph it sometimes dies completely. Battery was replaced 1 year ago. The middle screen on the dash gets super dim and it appears to still be on if you look closely at night but the dials are frozen at the current speed and rpm. My mechanic tested the battery connection and there is nothing loose that would cause this.

On several occasions my vehicle turned off while driving. When vehicle turns off, steering wheel locks up and my turn signals do not work. We bought and replaced a new battery. Within a week the issue started again. Today it happened twice within 45 minutes apart. Again, the car completely turns/shuts off. We have to find a safe way to stop, put it in park, wait a couple of minutes then turn it back on.

Car transmission jumps when its starts moving at the beginning makes it feel like someone rear ended the car. This happens every time. It does not feel safe.

Headlights do not point far enough down the road, making it difficult to see while driving at night especially on country roads or when raining.

Factory installed tow package signals where not activated. Had to bring to dealer after trying to safely use a trailer. Dealer had to contact Jeep star/bcm. To activate the system. Defect has present from day one, did not had a reason to use the system until now. Dealer also did not detect in the pre-customer release of the vehicle.

Service shift it been come on my speed are jumping car speed by it self and the dealership fail to fix my problem now it unsave to drive like this whith my family.

My car went dead while driving. Took to the shop and said there was a "software update/recall" that caused the car to use more oil than normal and I was driving with no oil!!!!! this "recall" update had been released "6 days ago" per my Dodge/Chrysler dealership. Why is this recall not here? sounds very strange to me.

While driving at highway speeds, unknown problem console display and display controls switched erratically and became nonfunctional, disabling climate controls, switching radio stations, and console display lights and dash lights (speedometer, coolant temp, fuel etc. . ) turned off. Dangerous condition due to no heater during 9 degree f weather.

I have received warnings on my dash since the vehicle was brand new. Auto stop start continues to malfunction . Parking brake deploys itself and some days the steep won't turn on and touch screen doesn't work. Since all this happens while I am driving and not at dealership they insist it doesn't occur and haven't repaired even after keeping my vehicle in their shop for the first six months I owned it.

The car has a service shifter light on and all the lights on the shifter are lit red for example the parking, reverse, drive, neutral. The car started driving really rough and now there is a rattling noise. Bought the car around 1 month ago and it is already giving problems. The car only has 19,000 miles and when I googled the problem I see several people had the same problem then the dealer fixed the problem charging some people but the problem came back as well as causing leaks or other problems. The vehicle was sitting at home then when turned on the lights came on and then turned off the lights went off a couple times by restarting the engine but now it always stays on as well as causes a rattling noise as well as very rough driving.

Inside on the car's body frame of the driver's side of my 2017 Jeep, there is a sticker that says: this vehicle may include Mercury -- added devices installed by the manufacturer: video display (which I have to touch to operate the radio and phone call free feature) navigation/camera display (which I have to touch to operate the radio and phone call free feature) hdi headlamps (which I touch when I wash my car) remove devices before vehicle's disposal. Upon removal of devices, please reuse, recycle or dispose as hazardous waste. When I travel (on a straight road like interstate 5 in washington and oregon) for more than 3 hours, I get nauseous, dizzy, and do not feel well for hours afterwards. This has been an on-going scenario. I had asked my mechanic to check the ac system, clean all of the vents, and replace the filters and it still did not fix my reaction to driving in the car or being just a passenger. This is unacceptable! please recall and rectify this hazardous situation immediately among all owners of a 2017 Jeep. Why it is always in the hands of the consumer to make things right? why can't corporations just do the right thing for its customers and the earth? this blatant irresponsibility and corporate greed is getting so old. Ive had to replace the oil housing filter and light switch and now the shifter light is coming on. This car is a lemon and needs a recall. This is all highway.

At times the dashboard lighting and the touch screen monitor goes dark; creating a safety condition by which I cannot determine how fast I am going and it does not allow for any of the safety items to be identified properly. This condition has occurred at night and when it does it makes for very unsafe ride. I am very concerned with driving this vehicle. The dealership has attempted to duplicate the problem with no success. I do not feel comfortable taking the vehicle back home.

Many Cherokee owners 2019 are complaining in all forums that taillights get wet with simple rain. If you all dealer they say Chrysler informs that it is normal behavior unless they are more than 24 hrs after wet. When asked if this will lead to failure, corrosion, or damage to the light assembly they say on long term yes so the best action is to go on the back of the vehicle to dry them. A new vehicle shouldnt be having this behavior. The vehicle is in normal environment conditions. Running the vehicle does not make them drier and is very difficult to dry using a rag or anything in the inside.

60,000 miles and my service shifter light comes. . . While driving all red lights on shifter coloum lite up as well. . . After turning the engine off and restarting it when off. . . But then came on again while driving, but the dealership acts like they have no clue what could cause this. . . But there are 1000 of complaints on line about the same thing in this model.

While driving the SUV shuts off completely. No engine power, no lights, no steering. This has happened 6 times leaving the SUV in the dark with no lights with children int he car. The SUV shuts down while in motion, at 45mph speeds on county roads and at high speed 70 mph + on turnpike. I am scared for my life. Dealer is not helping me. I put the last date in. It happened 6 times.

Tl the contact owns a 2019 Jeep Cherokee. While driving the vehicle, it completely shut off and the brakes, power steering, and lighting failed to work. The failure occurred while driving around a moderate incline. The contact guided the vehicle and stopped at the edge of a driveway. The vehicle eventually restarted after approximately five attempts. The manufacturer was called and advised the contact to take the vehicle to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The contact also stated that all the instrument panel gauges went dark a few weeks ago. The dealer had not been contacted yet and was an hour away from the contact's residence. The contact researched the failures online and found many complaints about the same matter. The vehicle had previously been repaired per an unknown recall to reprogram the power modules, which was when the recent failures began. The failure mileage was 31,000.

I had just had my vehicle 6 weeks driving from a stop to another stop. Car started chugging thought I hadn't given enough gas then I thought it powered down at the stop . Lights went out on both clusters went to accelerate chugged couldn't get across street check engine light came on I coasted to the side and it wouldn't start waited 15 min inched home about 3 miles called dealer sent a tow to pick car up had it for a week has same problem. They said to bring it back 500 miles when it happened has 3500 now afraid to drive. I need a vehicle can't leave for extended time and nothing is done.

Good evening! I purchased this 2019 Jeep Cherokee latitude plus with only 10 miles on it. The first 1000 miles we had issues with the start/stop feature. The car completely shut off while in drive. I took it in and the dealership said there were 40 fault codes. They cleared them and moved on. It happened again but this time, the check engine light came on. They cleared that code again. The third time I took it it was when the car shut off again but this time the battery light came on and multiple lights were flashing. I took it in and they said there was a loose battery and wire. They fixed it and now we are having problems with the radio. The screen keeps flickering and make beep noises. It has even frozen up on us. We have documented all of this with videos and I would be happy to share that with you. After the 7th time bringing in the vehicle. The dealership is still unable to fix it. I tried to higher a lawyer to see if this is lemon but without the dealership diagnosing the problem, there is nothing we can do. I just want my brand new car fixed. I've read hundreds of other review with the same issues please investigate!! thank you!.
