The contact owns a 2007 Jeep Commander 4x4. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 70 mph, the accelerator pedal was depressed but the vehicle failed to accelerate as the vehicle jerked forward. The failure recurred two times. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact mentioned when the vehicle was started from overnight, the vehicle would function as normal. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 64,000.

Well the Jeep has yet another new habit, my wife took it into town today to pick up some diapers from the a+p supermarket and pulling into a parking spot at 3mph it decided to leap forward violently almost causing her to crash into the car in the spot in front. Dcc are picking up the tab for the rental of a Jeep grand cherokee while this ones fate is decided. . . Please update my file to include the above incident if you have time and I will keep you posted mate,. . .
