Turned right from a stop sign. Accelerated to about 40. Accelerator stuck and 2007 Jeep Commander continued to accelerate. Driver stepped on brake & it did not stop the vehicle. Driver pulled the parking brake to slow a bit. Had to throw into park while moving in order to avoid accident.
