I bought a 07 Jeep Compass from a private dealership less than a year and a half ago and took it to a mechanic before purchasing and no problems were found. On Tuesday of last week a weird noise was coming from the engines hike driving around town and after taking it to a local dealership/service repair center the issue was in my transmission and it needed to be replaced completely. . .
