Brakes were squeaking. Once pressed brakes to floor, and vehicle would not stop until it was right up on back of another vehicle. Please provide any further information.
When traveling on highway and applying brakes vehicle shakes and vibrates. Also, loses brake power.
Manufacturer's recall 879 for front brakes. But, consumer has a problem with his rear brakes that are deteriorating.
Front end vibrates and jerks when brakes are applied. (speed is not a factor) front rotors and all brakes were replaced. When problem continued, rotors were replaced for a second time. Problem still continues. Local dealer is unable to offer a suggestion.
Anti-lock brakes began intermittent failure at around 50,000 miles.
Within 50,000 miles of wear all four rotors were replaced due to corrosion and pitting. Dealer notified, and informed consumer that vehicle was not covered under manufacturer's recall due to VIN.

While going around a curve at 40 in a 50mile zone applied brakes and vehicle started to skid. Then, consumer lost control of vehicle, and it was totalled.
Apparently, there was a recall of certain 1997 vehicles for the fuel sending unit and the brake system has had the power booster replaced another time by the previous owner. Recall 97v194000. 002.
I have had the following failures: fuel guage/ brakes (3) times/engine mount, and water pump, brought the vehicle in (5) times before they fixed the transmission, rear windshield wipers quit working, and then restarted. Also cd player died. Is this a lemon?.
Brake rotors continue to fail and cause very poor stopping ability and grinding.
Rear differential pinion and carrier bearings failed at 12,000 miles. Replaced under warranty. Failed a second time at 59,000 miles, same problem. Chrysler refuses to repair. Ac evaporator corroding again. Replaced once under warranty, problem has returned. Abs motor control circuit has failed, no abs.

I've had the radio replaced 11/1998, a transmission filter replace 02/1998, and the transmission clutches replaced 03/1999, brake rotars need replacing, now I have lost all dash lights, windshield wipers, gas tank stays on empty, and hasastation in transmission failing again, not under warrenty will not service anymore, most failures started at 38,000 miles. Warrenty over at 36,000.
Front brake rotors get hot and warped every 15-20,000 miles which caused extended stopping distance, and may result in a crash. Dealer turned and replaced rotors 3 times. Please provide further information.
Front brake rotos warped and replaced by dealer at 10000 mile. The rear brake rotors have now warped. At 22000 miles, dealer will not make repair .
Abs brake problems; when applying the brakes under normal driving conditions, the pedal was vibrating as if the system was trying to engage. The truck slowed down somewhat, but it did not come to a complete stop. Driver shifted into park, which slowed the vehicle down. The truck was towed to the dealership.

Vehicle is a part of manufacturer's recall 10578. However, and is experiencing the same problems on both rear brakes. Consumer has taken vehicle to dealer on numerous occasions, but dealer responds that it is "wear and tear". Consumer has had problems with all four brakes since she bought vehicle in 1996.

The abs module and rotors failed and were replaced, the front brakes make noise and the rear brakes were worn out.
Front brakes replaced 1 year ago then received recall, winshield washer motor failed,power windows failed. Poor braking and vibration in pedal scraping noise from back end - rear bearings, differential, brakes and rotors need replacement.
Their is a pulsating feeling in brake pedal, and pedal is also hard when applied. Stopping distance is impaired due to this problem. Dealer rhas been contacted.
The brake rotors are out of round andcausing the brakes to pulsate and shake. Could result in loss of control .
