While driving at any speed consumer heard a loud clicking sound coming from the wheels. Vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who informed the consumer that the rotors needed to be replaced.

Failure Date: 11/13/2001

Consumer accelerated after a stop and vehicle began to go backwards. Consumer applied brakes and accelerated again, vehicle repeated itself. Consumer put vehicle in park and back to drive, it was normal. Manufacturer is aware of problem, but nothng could be done until a recall is issued. Consumer also stated that vehicle has had 2 sets of brakes at 22,000 miles.

3 Brake Foundation Components problem

Failure Date: 01/29/2001

Tapping on the brakes they make a grinding sound. The rear brakes were replaced but the problem has come back. After the dealer checked it out to see why the noise won't go away the dealer claimed it was normal.

Consumer has had recall, 00v136, work done, however rotors continue to warp, abs module needed repaired, brakes are noisy, brakes pulsate, and abs light illuminates, because of brake problems, tires had to be replaced and have to be rotated often, dealer stated there may be a hazardous condition in the future with the abs.

When the brakes are applied they pulsate. Dealer has replaced brakes at 20k miles. The vehicle currently has 38000 miles and problem reoccurred. Manufacturer has been notified.

When you step on the brakes car starts to vibrate (only happens on low speed between 20-40 mph).
