The vehicle stalled, the vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was determined the engine had blown. The consumer received a recall related to this problem and requested that Chrysler provide assistance for the cost of repairs. Ph.

2 Manifold/header/muffler/tail Pipe problem

Failure Date: 11/11/2001

While driving manifold gasket overheated, and brakes pulsated.

3 Manifold/header/muffler/tail Pipe problem

Failure Date: 06/24/2000

Fuel was leaking from tail pipe, and fumes entered the passenger's compartment. Dealer replaced fuel injector and power control module.

4 Manifold/header/muffler/tail Pipe problem

When putting vehicle in reverse it stalled. Took vehicle to dealer, and dealer found sludge build up in the engine. Consumer believed that problem was the same as stated in recall 02v104000 concerning manifold debris accumulation.
