Failure Date: 07/27/2001

Ingage in park, got out of the vehicle left driver side door open, engine on wasked back around to get in the vehicle. Suddenly shifted int reverse and took off down driveway and crashed backend first into large oak tree. Vehicle tottaled.

2 Manual Transmission problem

Failure Date: 09/20/2000

Consumer stated there was no indication of transmission fluid showing on the dipstick, the vehicle would downshift from drive to a lower gear, after 4 visits to the dealer it was discovered that the transmission vent tube was missing, which the factory failed to install.

3 Manual Transmission problem

The transmission functions impropery, at low speeds the transmission can unexpectedly down shift causing the vehicle to slow at a rapid rate.
