1 Brake Electric Antilock problem

Failure Date: 07/23/2007

I have to be extremely careful when braking as the brake pedal goes too far down and is too close to the accelerator and it is very easy to push on the accelerator while braking. I have nearly ran into other vehicles or even people in a crosswalk while pushing on the brake. Dealer says there are no TSB's or any internal information regarding this problem. Because I am aware ofthe problem I am very careful, but there are times when you just push on the brake and my foot is also hitting the accelerator.

2 Brake Electric Antilock problem

Failure Date: 02/21/2006

: the contact stated while depressing the brake pedal at any speed the vehicle continued to move forward and the brake pedal went to the floor before the vehicle stopped. The dealer was able to duplicate the problem, but could not determined what remedy to use. Also, the dashboard lights illuminated dim and bright. The dashboard lights were replaced twice in an attempt to solve the problem . However, had no success. Updated 05/30/06.

3 Brake Electric Antilock problem

Failure Date: 09/10/2005

On September 10, 2005 while driving on the road and the vehicle shook. Originally thought it was a flat tire, but there was not a flat tire. Vehicle is at dealership, there are no codes showing up, have to wait for the problem to happen again, it shakes as if as going down road at 55 mph with a flat tire. The steering wheel was shaking and the vehicle seemed sluggish like it did want to go. When slowing down the vehicle the vibration would slow down. Then, on September 22, 2005 went to apply the brakes and the light came on in the dashboard . After another five or six miles the brake pedal started vibrating, but like a smaller vibration compared to the vibrating. The dealership is looking at the brakes now also.
