Tl- the contact owns 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated while activating the service brake the vehicle would make a clicking noise. Also, while the vehicle was off and unoccupied brake lights and rear tailgate windshield independently tired on. The vehicle was taken the the dealer. The dealer stated there brake bar links and bar brushes, front and rear differential pinion seal were replaced. The vehicle was repaired. However, the failure has persisted. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 100,000. Az.

3 Brake Light On problem

Failure Date: 09/28/2006

: the contact stated the illumination of the instrument panel flickered and failed on three separate occasions. The service brake warning light illuminated each time. On two of those occasions, the brake pedal went mushy, but began operating after the brake pedal was pumped several times. The headlights failed to illuminate on the last occasion while traveling 45 mph. The vehicle was returned to the service dealer three different times for service, but the problems continued. The manufacturer sent an engineer to inspect the vehicle.
