While driving 55mph suddenly every dashboard warnings light, ignition, radio,headlights, etc. Turns on and off. Engine stalls for a couple of seconds each time this occurs. The same thing happened on a number of occasions. Dealer says they never heard of this problem and could not duplicate this problem when the car was in the shop. The car was at the dealer's shop on two occasions. The first time they said they couldn't find the problem and the second time they did something to the computer. The car is doing the same thing and is going back to the dealer on 2/18/13.

Driving 65 miles per hour on freeway. Engine stalled, and front dash lights went out. Power steering was off and brakes were off as well. Was able to maintain control of the vehicle and make my way to the shoulder. Once stopped, started up without an issue.

10 Engine Stall problem

Our 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 4. 7 l engine has stalled in this same manner on several occasions. None, fortunately at highway speeds. It tends to occur while braking to slow down. The engine will stall with no warning and forcing the driver to re-start the engine. We have not needed to be towed but we have had it looked at by the dealer with no success in them being able to duplicate the problem.

Driving 75 miles per hour on interstate and engine stalled, and all power components, including power steering stalled and brakes. Was able to maintain control of the vehicle and make my way to the shoulder. Once stopped car started up without problem. This was an extremely dangerous and unsettling malfunction.
