When my wife fills here 2008 Jeep Liberty the fuel pump doesn't shut off and full shots out of the filler. This came on suddenly had it looked at once (non-Jeep dealer) and found nothing. This even happens when the pump is set to the lowest speed. This is dangerous and wasteful!.
When filling the gas tank on a 2008 Jeep Liberty, fuel will overflow out of the tank filler tube on to the vehicle and ground after the fuel pump has shut off. Fuel overflows out of the filler tube after the fuel pump is shut off, even when filling it at a low flow rate. It started occuring when the vehicle had approximately 55,000 miles.
