Two problems related to engine rattling and whining sounds have been reported for the 2014 Jeep Patriot. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
My Jeep overheats regularly, no towing just regular colorado hwy driving, makes high pitched whining sounds, and loses power. I have to pull over and wait for the light to go off, resume driving, and pull over again when the light comes on. Over and over this happens. Dealership says no error code on the engine and there is nothing they can do.
Purchased vehicle, drove home and noticed that when I disengage the clutch a loud whining noise appears and I made an appointment at the dealership for a week out and it has gradually gotten worse while driving.
