1 O2 Sensor problem of the 2015 Jeep Renegade

Failure Date: 10/27/2020

The vehicle has less than 14k miles on it. We have had to replace the O2 sensor. Less than a month later, the wiring harness has melted. Dealership advised that the wiring harness has been updated indicating there was a defect that was corrected. However no recall was issued. Why not if the part was updated to fix a defect?.

2 O2 Sensor problem of the 2016 Jeep Renegade

Failure Date: 08/07/2019

This truck has been a nightmare. The first year I had it I had to take it to the dealership 7 times because my emergency brake would randomly turn on. They finally figured out it was an electrical problem. Last month I started the car and it was running like it had 150, 000 miles on it (it only has 42,000) and the service engine light came one. Took it to the dealership and I was told on the phone the the O2 sensor was bad and I needed a tuneup. . . But when I refused to pay the dealership $700 for the work the story changed when I went to pick up the car. They then told me they broke the O2 sensor when replacing a fan that had been recalled. While driving o the highway yesterday every light on the dash came on. Once I got home a turn it off and back on only the service engine light came back on. I have no clue what im going to do with this $35,000 lemon. I can only guess the car still has electrical issues or the engine is about to die at 42,000 miles even though I have have kept up with all required maintenance through the dealership. But I do know I will never buy another Chrysler product again in my life.
