Air Conditioner problems of the 2007 Jeep Wrangler

Two problems related to air conditioner have been reported for the 2007 Jeep Wrangler. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Air Conditioner problem

Failure Date: 09/01/2007

The contact owns a 2007 Jeep Wrangler. While driving 30 mph, the stopping distance increased when the brakes were applied. The contact stated that the failure also occurred the following day while driving 40 mph. The road conditions were clear. He further stated that while driving 2 mph, the vehicle veered to the right. The dealer adjusted the tire pressure. In addition, there was a five second delay when he started the vehicle. The contact stated that the air conditioner and radio worked intermittently. The dealer was unable to duplicate any of the failures. The failure mileage was 900 and current mileage was 1,702.

2 Air Conditioner problem

Failure Date: 10/16/2006

The contact owns a 2007 Jeep Wrangler. While driving 40 mph, the vehicle stalled. The vehicle coasted and restarted on its own. The vehicle failed again while pulling into the driveway. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer, but they could not duplicate the failure. On July 10, 2007, the vehicle was repaired under NHTSA recall number 07v291000 (electrical system). The vehicle has not stalled since the repair, but continues to hesitate as if it will stall. The vehicle was taken to the dealer twice because the air conditioning system failed. On August 27, 2007, the contact noticed that the abs and anti-skid lights were illuminated. The vehicle is currently at the dealer for the a/c system. The current mileage was 18,000 and failure mileage was 2,384.
