Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problems of the 2007 Jeep Wrangler

Three problems related to recreational vehicle lpg tank valve/gauge have been reported for the 2007 Jeep Wrangler. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem

Failure Date: 02/16/2021

Timp has gone bad. Causes all gauges to quit working, stalls engine during operatiing, door locks and security system inoperable, headlights work then don't work. Lights come on even if switch is off. Window motors quit working. The well known failure of the timp in Chrysler vehicles, especially all Jeep Wrangler series dating as far back as 2006, have not been addressed nor fixed by Chrysler. This timp failure is a severe safety hazard and needs an immediate recall forced upon Chrysler/daimler/Jeep. My 2007 Jeep Wrangler jku timp quit working, whilst I was driving. This could have caused a major accident of which could have resulted in injury, and/or death. Thankfully, I was able to physically through the disabled power steering to stop vehicle. Through my research, it appears this is a major safety issue plaguing nearly every Jeep Wrangler produced. Something needs to be done now to address this issue. I wonder if anyone involved in an accident causing injury or death or damage could have been related to the timp. I am going to discuss this issue with the north carolina general assembly and nc and us attorney's general's office as well. This has to be fixed now with immediate recall forcing Chrysler/daimler/Jeep to fix the timp.

2 Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem

Failure Date: 06/07/2017

I opened the door to the Jeep and the wipers, horn and wiper fluid engaged non-stop without a key in the ignition. The only way to stop them was to disconnect the battery. When the battery cables are reconnected, the horn, wipers and wiper fluid sprayer are again engaged. On quick research, it was discovered that this is a known tipm failure issue that can also effect the airbag (preventing deployment as well as randomly engaging it while driving), fuel injection causing sudden loss of power and vehicle control as well as issues with lights and gauges. Issues were severe enough to issue a recall on 2007 year models but similar issues with the 2008 are not addressed. I was fortunate the the vehicle was parked in my garage when the tipm failed and not driving down the highway.

3 Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem

Failure Date: 01/08/2017

I was driving down the road and the horn started blowing and would not stop, the windshield wipers started wiping at high speed, windshield washer fluid was squirting out, and would not stop. I turned the vehicle off and issues kept happening. The gauges and speedometer stopped working at this time. Luckily I was pulling in my driveway.
