Clutch problems of the 2007 Jeep Wrangler

Two problems related to clutch have been reported for the 2007 Jeep Wrangler. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Clutch problem

Failure Date: 06/05/2016

The contact owns a 2007 Jeep Wrangler sahara. The contact stated that when the gear was shifted, the clutch plate squeaked without warning. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the clutch plate needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 92,000.

2 Clutch problem

Failure Date: 08/19/2008

2007 Jeep Wrangler. Consumer states clutch failure with vehicle consumer sent copy of letter the consumer stated while driving, the vehicle would not shift. The clutch was replaced three times within 18 months. The consumer received a refund for the expenses she incurred. Updated 06/21/jb.
