Gas Recirculation Valve (egr Valve) problems of the 2007 Jeep Wrangler

Car did not have any power when pressing the gas peddle. Engine light was on. Even though car was brought to dealer for service November 1 2014. Two fault codes were found the dealer (papa Dodge) replaced egr and gasket valve. I called the dealer about 10 days later and told them the car still did not have power when pressing the gas peddle. The supervisor of the service department took Jeep for test drive and said he didn't see a problem. On December 25 engine light came on. On December 26 I was driving about 5 miles per hour and saw smoke came to completed stop. Under the car front in the front under hood was on fire passenger side. Police and fire department was called immediately and put out fire under hood engine. Car was completely burned out.

I guess I am writing with more than one issue. Sorry for the inconvenience of such a long explanation but I thought long and hard before delving into this. I purchased my 2007 Jeep Wrangler unlimited x 4-door 2wd in October of 2006. I was one of the lucky victims that while going 70 mph, the entire Jeep shut down and then restarted on it's own. This happened twice. Took it in once, I got the "I'm sorry look" and was let go. Didn't even bother with the dealership the second time and finally was lucky enough not to have a wreck before the recall was sent. Within one month, not more than 1200 on the vehicle, it would not start. Called tow trucks twice. Each time, it took the tow truck 30-45 minutes to arrive and in that time frame, with repeated efforts, I was able to get the vehicle to start. This has not happened again for about 6 - 9 months then came February 2007. It was about 45 degrees outside and I walked out to get the mail. As I looked up at the Jeep, I was stopped dead in my tracks and did not even want to face what I knew had happened. Right below where the windshield starts, right above the hood, on the drivers' side was an approximate 1" crack. I went back outside 3 times thinking maybe I "thought" I was seeing something that wasn't really there. Within one week, the crack had extended up about 1/2" and cracked horizontally about 4 inches across. So sorry again for the long, indepth letter. I just don't know what to do anymore. Jeep 2007 Wrangler, engine stall Saturday June 23, 2007, some time around 10:30 - 11:00 a. M. While driving the Jeep on freeway at 62 to 63 miles per hour, with out warning engine felt like it cut out, car then started slowing down, instrument panel lights were coming on, noticed tachometer and speedometer dropping off, did not have to restart engine came back to life on its own, then the dash lights started going out, what seemed like one by one till they were all off, this all happened with in seconds. Circumstances: 5,732 miles on odometer, automatic transmission, driving with foot on accelerator (cruise off), gas tank just over half full, 71 degrees out side, very humid day, rained previous night car parked outside. Drove from home to store about 6 -8 miles, parked at store for 30 to 45 minutes then went on to freeway about 5 to 10 minutes later this all happened, ran ok rest of day. Side note radio was on do not remember if it went off or not.

I was driving toward a red light, and slowing down at 35 mph, I and had my father in the vehicle when the radio shut off, there was a slight jerk in the vehicle, all the lights on the dash came on, and then everything continued like normal. I had 1/8 of a tank of gas, and it was 87 degrees out. This was the third time that my vehicle stalled. The last time I was reversing out of a space, and damage was caused.
