Two problems related to other fuel system pump have been reported for the 2007 Jeep Wrangler. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Tl- the contact owns a 2007 Jeep Wrangler. . The contact smelled a strong odor of gas from the vehicle and noticed a discoloration of fuel leakage from under the vehicle on the ground. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and was diagnosed that the corroded top of the gas ring, fuel pump,and locking ring need to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 72,820. Pp.
Tl- the contact owns a 2007 Jeep Wrangler 4x4. The contact stated that strong fuel fumes emitted inside the vehicle. After inspecting the vehicle, the contact noticed that there was a leak coming from the fuel tank. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer. The technician diagnosed that the fuel tank, lock ring and the fuel pump deteriorated and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure.
