Power Door Locks Not Working problems of the 2007 Jeep Wrangler

1 Power Door Locks Not Working problem

The contact owns a 2007 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that the remote door lock would not operate. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the fuse to the doors had blown. The fuse was replaced but, moments later, had blown a second time. The vehicle was taken to the dealer Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler and fiat of yakima washington where it was diagnosed that the tipm module was faulty and needed to be replaced. The module was replaced, but the failures continued. During the repair, it was also discovered that the wire harness to the tipm had melted. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 95,000.
