One problem related to rear suspension has been reported for the 2007 Jeep Wrangler. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Rear Suspension problem

Failure Date: 08/01/2009

2007 Jeep Wrangler: rear track bar bracket welds broke, creating a dangerous handling and safety issue. Further research on the internet revealed that this is a known issue, common for both modified and stock vehicles, but more so on vehicles which have had a lift kit installed. While the push back may be that it's rare on stock vehicles, Jeeps are the most commonly and extensively modified vehicles on the road, and Jeep cannot make the claim that they are unaware of this fact based on millions of modified Jeeps and Chrysler's involvement selling modifications as well as in off road activities for Jeeps. Additionally, according to my research, Chrysler modified it's method of welding the brackets in mid-08.
