Two problems related to transmission failure have been reported for the 2008 Jeep Wrangler. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Transmission fluid overheated causing a transmission failure. No warning light came on.
Hotoil alarm comes on under normal driving conditions on a daily basis. Transmission is overheating and needs an appropriate grabs cooler or this will cause fire. This needs to be addressed ASAP before transmission failure!.
