Fuel overflows while filling tank. Fuel spills on people, vehicle, and ground.
When filling the fuel tank, gasoline spews out of the filler tube as the gas pump clicks off at "full" level. The vehicle was stationary and the engine was turned off. This problem happens almost every time I fill the tank.
Auto shut off of gas fill does not work when filling fuel tank and gas spues all over the vehicle and ground when tank fills.
Fuel sprays out of filler when filling fuel tank. The nozzle shuts off and then the fuel flows out onto operator and exterior of car and ground.
Gas tank overflows when filling vehicle. . I have seen several complaints on line.
Fuel shooting out of gas tank when filling up. Does not shut off, sending fuel flying out all over vehicle and concrete. Vehicle stationary, not running. Began in early January 2018 and continues with each fill-up.
Gasoline/fuel spit or spray-back and overfill spillage when filling fuel tank, especially when/after fuel filling nozzle shuts off (automatic shut off). Occurs practically every time I fill my tank.
Gasoline will overflows when filling the gas tank. It also produces back pressure when filling causing the fuel pump to automatically shut off prematurely.
When filling up with gas, after the automatic pump shutoff, gas shoots back out onto the side of the Jeep and the ground. Like the tank threw up the last bit of gas (about a liter of gas comes back out). Happens every time I fill up regardless of which gas station I go to.
When filling up gas tank, pump clicks off and then fuel spills out. This occurs at different gas stations.
Gasoline overflows the tank when filling at every fillup, regardless of filling station brand name, time of year or filling with the nozzle handle held by hand or using the auto fill mode.
I have a 2011 Jeep Wrangler rubicon. When the pump shuts off while filling my gas tank, fuel sprays out. The Jeep dealer says he has never heard of this happening before. I told him to look on the internet and he would find hundreds of complaints. I understand you have to replace the entire gas tank to fix this problem. While driving through oregon, (no self serve gas stations) several attendants told me that this was a common problem, especially in the cold weather.
Gas keeps coming out of the tank when filling up which is a danger and a hazard and has nothing to do with wear or tear or abuse its a faulty part or bad fuel tank and is a problem out there for so many Jeep Wranglers on every forum. If there are so many Jeeps on forums with the same problem why isnt there a recall, god for bid I had a gas attendwnt filling up my car and didnt know gas would shoot all over him its a hazard to everyone and the enviroment.
When filling the gas tank there is something wrong with the filet neck. The gas does not stop when your filling it. The gas overrated all the time. The person at the gas station says it happens w all the Jeep's. This is dangerous and someone is going to die when the gas spills out. Also Jeep says it's a problem but says there isn't a recall.
Ever since I've purchased my used 2011 Wrangler it has spit fuel onto Jeep/ground while filling the tank. Sometimes as much as 1/2 gal fuel. There is a TSB for 2007/2008 Wranglers to have tank replaced. There needs to be another one for newer Jeeps. Several complaints for the 2011 are listed on your site for the same problem.
When filling with fuel some the automatic stop will trip on the pump when the tank is full then up to half a gallon of fuel will shoot back out of the filler hole. This has happened at various gas stations for the past several months.
