1 Hazard Flashing Warning Light Switch problem of the 2000 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 08/03/2004

Water entered the steering column through the hazard switch (leak caused by factory top design) and shorted the multi function switch used to control brake lights, turn signals, and headlights. The short caused a small fire and meltdown of the switch. The switch had to be replaced. This is the second time this has occurred.
