Tl- the contact stated that while driving approximately 75 mph when the vehicle starting making a rattling noise. The contact stated that they then heard a loud pop noise come from underneath the vehicle. The contact then loss the ability to accelerate, therefore, the contact then decided to pull over to the side of the road. The vehicle then suddenly caught on fire from underneath the hood of the vehicle. The fire department was called and put out the fire. A police/fire report was taken. The vehicle was towed. The contact stated the vehicle had not been officially deemed totaled as of yet. There were no injuries and no medical attention was needed. The dealership was not contacted.
