The vehicle was in motion on highway route 50 when smoke entered the vehicle from the ac vents. I tried to press the brakes but they failed. Then the car caught on fire from the front and back, the brakes continued to fail, I jumped from the vehicle on going 40mph, then the car exploded.

Tl- the contact owns a 2010 kia Forte. The contact stated that there was a brake system failure progressing with no warning. As the failure progressed, the brake pedal traveled to the floorboard and was unresponsive so the contact had to maneuver the brake pedal each time the failure happened. A dealer had not diagnosed the vehicle yet. An independent mechanic had not inspected and diagnosed the vehicle yet. The manufacturer had not issued any TSB and no recalls for the brake system. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was not available. Dyd.
